What can i say, big box store. But good for them for being way more progressive than all other box stores. I like the price on some products.

Probably one of the best beer stores in the city with the exceptions being Kensington Wine Market and Willow Park. A huge freeker with hundred of single and six available beers. Tons of imports as well as an entire section full of local microbrews. A wonderful place to go for beers.

Not a bad stop. Felt like a standard liquor store, and the employees were jonesing to get out. The selection was pretty good. A GREAT selection of local Canadian beers and several things from over seas that I had never seen coming from Texas. Decent enough spot to pick up some brews.

Just noticed that Trevor added this place, and even though Iím in New Zealand right now I will add my opinion. I tend to check in on the south Mcleod location every month or so. I agree that it is worth a look from time to time, as they frequently are the first place that something new pops up. For example, they were the first (and for a while the only place) to carry Butte Creek products. Same story with North Coast, although both of these products can be found elsewhere at this point. Anyway, the 3 different locations Iíve been in all carry a nice variety and quantity of local micros and imports. If ou cannot gt to Willow Park or Kensington Wines, then a Co-Op store is probably your best bet when passing through town.

Voted top liquor store in Calgary by readers of the Herald. 17 locations in Calgary, Airdrie & Strathmore. I pop in occassionaly to the downtown location but more often to Creekside. They had an exclusive on North Coast beers and often have beers that I only see there. They are still trying to understand beer, what sells and what they should carry. Selection varies greatly by store. Watch the expiration dates as some beer sits a while.
