Decent neighborhood spot with decent food and better than average beer selection for the Richmond area. Some of the food wasn’t that great- but it doesn’t really put out the fine dining vibe. Gator bites were not good- too bad cause I like the idea of someone serving Alligator. "Texas Wisconsin Border Cafe- Widowmaker Chili" was decent but not the best I’ve ever had. Shrimp and grits were good but salty. My husband seemed to like his sandwich. Good for casual night with friends without breaking the bank or low-key couple’s night.

Small spot in the Fan/Museum district of Richmond. Experience is completely different every time. Some of the food is good while some is way overpriced. Beers are decent in selection...both macros and crafts. Some of the better craft beers are way overpriced. Overall its worth a try.

A decent place to grab a good beer...just don’t have much as far as expectation for the food or service. Avoid the wings and the jalapeno poppers...they are pretty foul. The service was a bit dodgy as well. I did enjoy the decent beer selection though. Much improved over the standard Richmond fan bar...but it isn’t anything to write home about.

A nice local spot.

Stupid Hot Wings are the best on the menu. Challenge yourself and win a T-Shirt. Moderate choice on beers being offered but they occasionally get seasonals in to quench the taste buds.

Nice lowkey place. Parking is on the street. Nice outdoor patio in a cool looking mixed residental/commercial neighborhood. Good for people watching. Nice selection on draft... I had a La Chouffe. Good mix of Belgians and other beers. A few macro selections but there’s plenty here for the craft beer drinker. The beer was served in fairly appropriate glassware and I’m pretty sure I got a bit more than the menu indicated. Prices are reasonable. The food was not great, but good. It could have used some more seasoning but it was hearty and good. Nice people, even though they were overworked. Overall a nice stop.

Went back today. An hour to get the food. My food was cold. The other person in my party got extras because the food was late, we assume... extras she didn’t ask for and was allergic to. My glass was sitting on the table empty for at least ten minutes. Very unprofessional showing. Service and food scores updated to reflect that. Old score was 74.

Small spot in the museum district. Fairly nice tap selection, mostly craft beers and a nice bottle selection too. Prices are very reasonable. Food was reasonably priced and very tasty. Staff was quite friendly and tolerant of our group. Certainly worth a stop when passing through.

Nice little hole in the wall type place. Good prices and good spicy food. They had a surprisingly large beer selection, which seemed fairly carefully chosen. Not too bad for the food, but as far as beer concerned, there are better places to go in Richmond.

This place is GREAT! The food was outstanding - incredibly flavorful with just the right amount of heat. The service was so fast and friendly, it was almost creepy. And the beer selection - AWESOME. Especially if you factor in prices. Seriously, this place gets such a high score due to the ridiculously value priced rare beers - on draft and bottles. While the selection may only be a third of that at Capital Ale House, but the prices are slashed by more than half on several products! The food entrees can be a bit pricey - in the $14 - $20 range, but they also offer several sandwiches for under $10. And this place tends to lean toward hops - they had Bells Hopslam, and Lagunitas Censored on tap, and bottles of Dogfish 120min (which was only $10.50/bottle). So the bottom line is that this is an OUTSTANDING place to go eat, drink, and be merry - A MUST VISIT if you like spicy food and hoppy beer!

Great beer selection, great food. Nice atmosphere. What else could you want?
