My first stop at CBC, I have wanted to check this place out for a few years now. Large brick and wood space inside with lots of people enjoying themselves, some a little too much. Not as many people outside on the patio, altho if the weather was a little nice I would have joined them out there as it looked awesome. Service was pretty good. At times he just wanted to talk to the locals but I didnít have to wait too long for my beers. Quality was pretty high. Legit food ingredients, proper glasses, etc. Selection was pretty good but not amazing. Nothing overly rare or interesting, except the sake beer. but a decent array of beers to choose from. I stopped in for dinner so I decided to go with a margarita pizza which was solid, I finished the whole pizza in no time flat. Prices were on par with everywhere else I had been, maybe a touch high but it is a major city. Overall an awesome little brewpub in the heart of the city. I will definitely return when I am in the city.

Stopped on a Wednesday night, had a hard time finding the place, building 100 can be difficult the find, thankfully there was a mall map sort of thing which guided me in the right direction. No parking even close to speak of which is annoying but not horrible. Room is covered in light woods and young college kids, 7 seats at the bar with chalkboard tap list I couldnít read even though I was sitting dead nuts in the middle. Bar keep was quick to offer samples and pour drinks. Tending to a large crowd with ease. Didnít try the food so canít speak on that, prices were easily fair for the market.

Visited on 7/21/12.
A: This place has a great vibe to it, plenty of bar area, indoor seating and outdoor seating. We went on a Saturday afternoon during the summer and still had a good crowd.
Q: I failed miserably on their beers, was disappointed with Pale Ale on cask then on tap, then again with their seasonal BPA. Iíve had several of their bombers in the past and really liked but left disapponted.
S: The service was great, our waitress was very friendly, knowledgable and even made good recommendations of other places to try in the area too.
S: Selection was decent as they offered 5 year round offerings, 6 seasonal offerings and to go bombers and growlers. It was a good array of various styles especially for the season.
F: Food was slightly better than average but nothing spectacular.
Overall, I was really excited to finally come here but left feeling disappointed over my beer choices which were less than average.

Small brewery near MeadHall and Lord Hobo. Nice old pub copper system that seems a bit claustrophobic in the back. Iíve had their beers before at GABF, and the experience didnít differ: good stuff. Atmosphere was a bit more casual than I had envisioned (for some reason). I was really intrigued to see that they were brewing both sake hybrids as well as full on sakes. Very interesting. Iíll definitely return when I am in the area next.

Honestly, this is one of my favorite places in the world. I could spend all day at the bar (and have, upon several occasions.) The beer selection is excellent, the beers themselves are exciting and well made, and the vibe canít be beat.

This was one of the better breweries I visited inthe Boston area. It was packed on a Friday night, bustling with well-to-do guests. The ambiance is classy and funky. I liked the outdoor area, but was relegated to a table in the corner as seating was limited. The beer selection was great. They had some more experimental offerings and a solid base of more usual styles. I had some delicious baba ganoush. If youíre looking for a high quality brewpub around here this has to be in the discussion.

This is a pretty cool place. The beer is pretty darn good and has some history to it which ads to the experience. I sat inside. It it looks like they have a nice patio. I stuck with the hops and Belgians so cannot comment on the rest. I think their pale ale was the best of them all.
There's a neat mural on the wall of famous folks that's fun to look at. TIP: ask for the legend. Have fun!

Great spot, although a bit of a trek to get to. Went mid Sunday afternoon with my wife and kids. Sat in the back at first, but it was pretty dark and dingy back there, so we asked to be moved to the sunnier front which was much better. Be fine at the back at night. Food was fresh and well done. A dozen of their own beers on tap, had three and they were all great. Service was attentive. Nothing bad to say about it at all!
