Odd spot...combo butcher shop/bar/restaurant next to resto. Always has some very rare stuff on draft and bottled though you’ll pay for it. Good meat/offal focused menu.

Finally got here for brief visit. I have been dying to come and will be back for food. Place is cool butchers op feel with awesome patio. They were playing 90’s rap which was odd. Bartender was super friendly and helpful. Great bottle list but unfortunately taps were down when I was there. Anyways pretty awesome.

This place is a must visit when in NYC. I only discovered it in the past year and wish I knew it sooner. Great look...and very attentive servers. This place has wall to wall coolers as you first enter...which is a great first impression. Then when you realize they are a "butcher" too...the possibilites start expanding exponentially. Make sure you have the peanuts and the hot dogs...and don’t forget the half a pig’s head. There is a great outside courtyard too. There should be no problem finding beers you like...only a place to sit (very popular). Some interesting movies on the TV’s too.

Close to the house / office so wind up there a fair amount. Service is hot and cold but always knowledgeable. Small handle selections that always seems to be out of the best one. Awesome cooler selection and a cellar list. Only had bar apps but larger plates look good. Love the idea (meat + beer) but always leaves me wanting more. If you’re in the neighborhood definitely check it out but if you’re staying elsewhere probably not worth the trip.

Went here for food mostly, but also to try some of the taps. Beers were mostly bottled.. to go stuff with self serve refrigerators in the front (similar to Good Beer NYC) as well as sit down selection. Small draft selection... about 8 taps. Unique brews though... at least 2 I’ve never seen before. Lamb sausage with chick pea chili was out of this world... little pricey but it has to be bc it’s so small.

Stopped by here last night to meet up with some bros. Didn’t try the food but it smelled delicious. Right as you walk in you are greeted by beer coolers on both sides with a solid selection. Surprised to see GI BCS still available here (seems like it sold out every where in nyc pretty quickly). They do bottles to go and they were reasonably priced. The drafts seemed to be a bit overpriced. Small cramped bar seating with a table or two in the back - so plan to sit at the bar - but still with very nice ambiance. Will definitley be making a trip back here to try the food.

Awesome beer list and the meat-focused menu is perfect for the proud-to-be-carnivore. the PAtes, tartares and sausages are all top notch.
