been disappointed with this place for years...overrated, very average

I actually prefer the West End location (but that may be a personal bias since I’ve spent a lot more time at that one). This one still gets the same level of quality beers, but it just isn’t quite as well set-up or as much fun to visit. Still, a really solid place though.

Strong beer selection, the menu is an encyclopedia. Interesting spot since downtown Richmond is pretty quiet after 6pm, but a good place to grab a pint glass and drink a unique beer.

Usually very good although it’s showing its age. A little irked that on recent visits they have had virtually no IPA selection on tap. Actually haven’t been back recently because of this. Used to go at least once a week. Food always decent. Seasoned servers and bartenders knowledgeable but not newbies (have it on authority that they have to go to classes to improve knowledge, though).

Great spot in the heart of downtown Richmond. Food is awesome and beer selection is one of the best in the area. They open cask early in the week and have specials most nights. A must for everyone.

needs focus...bartenders are great, but waitstaff needs beer education.
