They have a nice happy hour from 4-7pm with $3 pints and half price apps. Way too many smokers, but was told that DC becomes non-smoking January 1. Service was excellent, and the beer was average. They ahd a good selection of beer for most palates.

Right next to the Union Station Metro stop so this brewpub is very easy to reach. Several brews on tap from their selection, better than some microís but nothing really outstanding. Nice place to stop at, just donít expect ground breaking beer.

Been to both D.C. locations several times - last time was the New York Ave. location in October 2006. Very crowded even for a Sunday night at 10:00 (which is a good thing). Usually have around 6 on tap, not a whole lot of rotation, but all are above average for a non-beer geek brewpub, and what they make available is not too adventurous - more brewed for the masses. Service is a little slow when crowded - have to really go out of your way to get a barkeepís attention. Food is pretty good - not your typical Pub Grub- more meal oriented type things as well. Overall, a decent place to grab a pint and mingle with the crowd.

A high cealinged room, quite modernly decorated with large windows and big bar area - seemed like a good place to go for an after work beer in Your suit - but not that cozy. 7 beers on when I visited - though only 2 different from the Hill location. The service was OK, but didnít excel.

Had all eight beers they had on tap and wasnít impressed with any of them, but then again, they didnít have any of their higher rated stuff on tap when I was there in July. Service was ok and so was the food.

A brewpub with the feel of a large open cafeteria. I had a pint of their Pale Ale which was o.k. About on a par with the Gordon Biersch brewpubs Iíve visited.

Ehh... beer is ok, never terrible but rarely stellar. Food is kinda crappy due to a new manager. Crowd is blah. Youíll find some new beers to rate but for this local itís not a place I like to go.

Great location. Decent selection of staple beers. Some excellent seasonals. Good food. Terrible parking, but only one block away from Metro Center.

Tolerable local tourist brewpub, but not much more. They offer a sampler so one can make it through a number of mediocre beers in one sitting.
