A brewpub with the feel of a large open cafeteria. I had a pint of their Pale Ale which was o.k. About on a par with the Gordon Biersch brewpubs Iíve visited.

Ehh... beer is ok, never terrible but rarely stellar. Food is kinda crappy due to a new manager. Crowd is blah. Youíll find some new beers to rate but for this local itís not a place I like to go.

Great location. Decent selection of staple beers. Some excellent seasonals. Good food. Terrible parking, but only one block away from Metro Center.

Tolerable local tourist brewpub, but not much more. They offer a sampler so one can make it through a number of mediocre beers in one sitting.

Convienient to the metro if youíre downtown, this location was smaller than I expected, but did have a nice bar and friendly enough staff. The beer selection had the usual suspects plus a biere de garde when I was there. Upscale brewpub that makes a nice stop if youíre traveling or visiting museums.

Neat place. Decent location. Their beers are OK. Itís definitely not the first or second place Iíd choose to go to to get beer. But anyway, food is good, and they brew their own beer. Plus itís downtown at the Metro Center METRO station. So itís convenient.

Cool place. I prefer their pub on Capitol Hill for ambience. Beers are good and food is above average for a brew pub. Service was decent as I recall.

I stopped in on a couple of occasions in Sept. 2005. The bartenders were either ambivalent or downright rude--I was told on a Saturday that they were out of the Double Amber but would have it in on Monday. So after drinking their other beers, I stopped in on Monday, and another bartender said "we donít have it"--fine, "do you have any idea when youíll be getting it in; I was told Saturday it could be this week," and his reply was "we donít have it right now." Well, do you have a guess about the chances? "We donít have it right now." Like, why are you giving me the John Roberts answers? Not that their beers are that great anyway. He eventually gave me a "50/50" answer, which he could have been much more forthcoming about earlier on.

Went here on Monday, September 5th, 2005. Went here for lunch after touring some of the museums. Had the crabcake sandwich and a beer sampler. Also had a pint of the kolsch. Pretty good stuff all the way around. Service was good as well. Lacking a bit of the ambiance of the Capitol Hill location but still worth going to if in town.
