A large sportsbar, brewpub and restaurant. European tourists watching soccer (Germany vs Slovakia) The flight was not big glasses, but 4 oz. Perfect for me! Beers ranging from average to pretty good. Friendly service and well worth seeking out when you are downtown. (Visited June 26th 2016)
Looks like a quite average American sportsbar with people watching sports and eating greasy food. But I got a flight of 5 homebrews, in big glasses, for only $8 (maybe because it was happy hour?.) That was a welcome surprise. Pretty good beer too!
A wide variety of beers on tap. I highly recommend ordering a flight. The sample glasses are about 7 ounces! Good location downtown. The food was very good. It was loud with lots of sports playing on TV,but I enjoyed my visit.
Came in here in the evening. Half priced pints and cheap food during happy hour. Staff was friendly and food was adequate. Saw marines get into a fight when there was a guy doing the whole stole valor routine. Dinner, drinks, and a show.
Eight taps with a pretty standard brewpub template to the styles. Very large open space. Loud sports bar atmosphere. Service at the bar was fine, but the hostess ignored me for awhile before coming to seat me. Good location downtown, but not worth going out of your way for.
Nice ambience and in walking distance from the JW Marriott. Staff was friendly and accommodated a group of ten easily. They had four of their normal beers on tap with an additional five rotating. Beers are average, food is good. Price is good for the DC area.
Stopped in here with the family, when visiting DC for a meeting. Atmosphere is great - it’s a corner restaurant with big glass windows facing the street, central bar and some different levels of seating. The beer, however, borders somewhere between average and bad (and we tried 6-7 offerings). Their amber, which is supposedly good, ran out. The food was above average and the service was average.
