Brains pub serving most of the Brains range inc the nice brains Dark. Very good value food and good service.

It’s a Brains pub so they only had Brains beer on tap. I had already tried most of them before but found 1 new beer. The Goat Major is probably a better bet if you want to try Brains beers as they also have some on self pour. I don’t have much to add, I had my beer and went on to the next pub.

A very nice pub right in the center of town. Had about 7 Brains beers on tap, 5 were on cask. Good food, and not overpriced. A good place to get into some Brains.

Although it’s a Brains pub, it might be one of the best places to try the lineup in central Cardiff because it’s a small, characterful pub in a sea of corporate crap. Beers are kept in good condition and the pies are not bad.
