This isnít really a "beer bar" per se - itís a french bistro cafe that happens to have an above average tap and bottle list. Donít go here thinking youíll find a rare or hard to find craft beer on tap. Go here if you want a great meal with a good beer or glass of wine. Or go here if youíre going out with people who donít want to go to one of your regular beer bar haunts. In warmer months the outdoor seating on Walnut is the place to be. Great daily quiche specials (how does he get the crust so good and the eggs so fluffy??), a really good burger and some find entrees.

The inside and outside of this place are great small outdoor seating with some plants surrounding it from the street the inside has high ceilings a couple of athena looking statues for lights on the bar, french wine and liquor posters above the bar and tons of empty don and expensive wine bottles lined up along the top of the bar .... having said all of that two chimays cost me 8.50 a piece on draft and the $2 sliders for happy hour were a quarter of the size of a white castle hamburger (I will say they were tasty though) the menu had lots of french entrees for 20-35 bucks ... they had 5 taps with some local brews and chimay cinq cents the bottle list was small but mostly featured about a dozen or so of some nice rare french brews with a mix of euro and us .... the server was nice but knew nothing about beer ... all and all I would only really stop here to add a french brew or two and move on ... this place is way too pricey

Perfect in spring/summer to sit outside, have some french bistro food and some interesting ale.

French cafe with lots of different brews to choose from. The rotation is decent and they carry lots of locals. Had my first Dirty Bastard here years ago before I was rating. Like to stop in here for after dinner drinks as there is always a spot at the bar or on the patio. Offerings from Dogfish, Victory, Troegs, Founders, Yards, Westmalle, Lindemans, Chimay and many many more. They have enough options to satisfy most ratebeerians. Food is hit or miss when you get the more fancy options. They have a great burger though that can be ordered off the bar menu.
