Visited on 01/02/16. Located in the heart of the Sonoma valley this winery come brewery is set in a great location with sweeping views all round. Modern facility with tall benches equipped with stools. Service was just OK but not overly friendy despite their only being one other person there during our 5pm visit. 11 beers on tap, differing styles, tasting flights available but at ridiculously high prices ... something like $15 for 5 tasters or the likes. Beers ranged from poor to medicore with my average score dished out being just under 3 - not the lowest average for a brew pub but probably in the bottom 5 or 10 from a good few hundred. Overall one to scroll right on past ... for the ardent ticker coming mob handed is essential to at least get through the crappy beer in as cost effective manner as possible!

Oh man. This place is in a really nice setting, right in the middle of wine country. The beer however absolutely sucks and is horrendously expensive. It was a pretty insulting visit, do not recommend.

The fetching wine country surroundings provided a rather stark contrast to the impressive mediocrity of the beers at this operation (calling it a ’brewery’ could be perceived as an insult to the Craft). Of the eight I tried, I think my average score was around 2.4. Adding insult to injury, the beers here were probably the most overpriced of all the places I visited during a week in CA (and that likely included c. 30 places). Aside from getting some new rates, I really can’t find anything to recommend about this place.

Wine makers that decided they should turn their hands to the beer game. Unfortunately, wine making is nothing like brewing, so the beers totally sucked. The experience was made even more unpalatable by the fact that their shitty beer was ridiculously expensive. Flights of 8ish beers were $30. At least the shitters were clean, I guess. Overall, steer clear of this place. Scroll past.

Winery-brewery in the Sonoma Valley. Beautiful setting; we got here around sunset, which was nice to see over the hills and surrounding vineyards. The air around the place reeked of cow shit. Very charming. The buildings looked brand new, inside and out, and were quite large. The bar area was big and bright. There was only one bartender and she wasn’t very nice. They had 11 beers on tap and prices are ridiculously expensive. The beer isn’t very good, either. Bottles and growlers are available. Snacks are available for purchase, too, and are also obscenely overpriced. We joked about Downtown Joe’s a lot, but I’d at least take the tired 90s-style joint over this arrogant winery, whose beers sound better on paper than they taste in the overpriced glass. I’ll give them *some* benefit of the doubt for being new and finding their way, but they have a ways to go to justify the price and attitude.

Winery turned brewery. Beer quailty went from boring to atrocious. Prices were absolutely crazy for samples. Spacious bar and nice service are the only redeeming qualitites. Scroll past unless your pockets are full of cash.

Another one of these winery style breweries in an unusual complex. This is a big airy bar with bathrooms outside. Not an issue unless weather isn’t playing nice. Huge selection of weird and unusual, but not very good beers. Beer prices are ridiculous even for tasters. In all, I would give this place a pass for the crazy prices alone.

Solid little brewery. Good variety in their taps (12 or so in total) including a very good barrel-aged sour which was balanced. It was quiet when I went (round 2PM on a Thursday) but pleasant. Some table shuffleboard or something was there. Cool place, worth a look if you’re in the area.

Pretty much what blomster wrote, but the service was very good. One of the brewers had time to talk and share a homebrew mead. Good place.

Just opened two weeks ago. Beautiful location, hops growing just outside the brewery. Good, clean beers. Taproom just next to the brewing equipment. Nice. I would come back again to check how these guys are doing.
