Careful - the coffee house doesn’t serve beer anymore, you have to go around the corner to the brewpub part that opens later (3 PM I think). The whole thing is in what looks like it used to be an old Motel 6, very retro. Inside is one of the most hipster places I have ever ventured into in my life, so it made for good people watching, or just staring. Beers were tasty, especially the coffee brown of course. And the coffee was good. Service was also above average. Worth a look. They are moving soon to a place with a 20 barrel system (currently using a 7 barrel), and will change names at that time.

Visited on a Wednesday evening. I caught this place right as the brewery split ownership from the coffee shop and before they have rebranded and moved to their new location. I visited when they were in a tiny tasting room right next door to the coffee shop. Located in the back of a strip mall / apartment complex type building. The room only had 8 seats, 4 at the bar, 4 at a barrel nearby. The small brewery is visible through the door. Only 4 beers on when I visited, due to the fact that hey are moving soon. The vibe was super friendly and positive, felt like hanging out a friend’s house. I had a lot of fun, and look forward to checking out their new place later in the spring.

70 = ★★˝ (Locals should check it out, visitors with extended time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Visited on a Tuesday afternoon. A large, trendy coffee shop with a nano brew setup? Sounds good. Place smells awesome. Busy place, with a stream of customers. People hanging out with their laptops..the usual. They are up to 4 regular ’always on’ taps and 1-2 seasonals at a time now. Strangely IPA focused, and only 1 coffee beer. Plenty of stuff/people to occupy your attention. Staff is friendly but mainly focused on barista duties. Beers were good, better than expected. Would like to see more of a focus on coffee beers.

Interesting concept and setting - a nano brewery in a serious-about-coffee trendy cafe! Very laid back and relaxing atmosphere. Beers worth trying (including Coffee Brown!) though nothing to write home about! Is very close to Taste of Tops.

Early rating. Just started serving beer about 2-3 weeks ago. Only two taps right now and still learning. Hey you can get beer and coffee in the same place. Small brewing system, but trying to expand. Unique concept and beer is pretty good. I’ll be back.
