Godd mix of guests, great mix of beers. Fines line of British cask ales, kegs from around the world. As if that’s not enough, there are large refrigrators filled with imports, too. Light and airy pub, one of the very best in London.

Selection is absolutely great, both bottles and casks/taps. There’s not much new to say. Interior is quite plain and the place gets noisy when it’s packed. Exports are rather pricey. Service was excellent. And toilets just disgusting.

Wow. Wow. Unbelievable selection of beers I had never seen. And some were on tap!! Wow. Great keg and ale choices and some delicious looking exotic bottles. I wosh it was in Birmingham and I wish it was cheaper, but you can’t have it all. Probably my favourite pub ever. Blimey.

Impressive range of beers, and friendly staff, also clean and tidy. Price was reasonable for a pint of Thornbridge. Will make a point of visiting again. Did not try the food when I was there as it was late afternoon.

The CASK Pub and Kitchen stands on a street corner about 10 minutes walk from Victoria and perhaps 5 minutes from Pimlico tube stations. It has a modern feel – more a bar than a pub, with light olive green walls and a cream ceiling, tea lights in red glass holders on the tables and a fixed bench with scatter cushions along most of the walls. It’s generally light and airy although there is one cosy area behind the door where there are no windows and some clutter has started to appear in the form of a frieze of beer mats. There’s also an impressive world map showing topography and country names displayed on one wall like a pull down projector screen.
On my last visit, a lovely spring Friday evening (13 May), to celebrate Jackie’s birthday it was very crowded and noisy both inside and out but we had reserved tables along one wall so there was no shortage of seats for our party. It was also very hot as the heating was blasting out, completely unnecessarily, from under the benches. That said, the beer selection was as good as ever. I had Mikkeller Beer Hop Breakfast, Struise Black Albert (laid on specially for the birthday girl I think), Alvinne Kerasus and a few other excellent beers, all on tap and served by knowledgeable and friendly staff. The blackboard on the wall says that the CASK has “London’s largest and finest collection of beer” and this may well be true although, as others have noted, it’s not the place to go if you’re on a tight budget.
We didn’t eat on this occasion but good hearty food with a modern twist is available most lunchtimes and in the evening until 2130 or 2200. There are also monthly “meet the brewer” evenings, which I haven’t attended although I’ve heard from friends who have that they’re worth the effort. Upcoming events are Revelation Cat (21 June), Odell (20 July ) and Kernel (1 August).

One of the best beer bars in London. Good central location close to Pimlico Underground. Fantastic selection of tap and bottled beers. Staff interested in beer. One of the must visits in London.

Great selection! Enjoyed many a pint during the day sitting outside the pub. Returned in the evening for dinner with the wife - did not disappoint!

Completely lacking atmosphere at lunch time - more like a tea room than a bar. Still the range of beers was impressive, and the service good. The prices are reasonable (by London standards) for the cask ales at least.

Easily the pub with the best selection of craft beer in London (every time I go there’s a new fridge been installed!). The fact that it’s only a 15 minute walk from my work is both a blessing (for trying new beers) and a curse (for my bank balance). The cask and keg collection is a forever changing carousel of quality craft beer selection (all though I would like to see some Lambic on). The bottle list is epic (lots of craft American, Belgian, British and Scandinavian brews) and there is always something new being added, although you will pay for it! They have a lot of meet-the-brewer nights and beer launches. The staff are attentive and fairly knowledgeable. A slight negative is the food - its ok, but I wouldn’t go out my way to eat there. One of the best places in the UK for beer lovers.
