Was there by coincidence for the five year celebration. Really nice place, great beer and friendly staff. Good food as well.

Located in a residential area near Pimlico underground station. The building on the outside doesn’t seem very good looking but once you go inside you will have a big surprise. The pub is quite large (by London standards) with good ambiance and equipped with very simple furniture.
The beer selection is the "forte" of this pub: more than 20 beers on tap with a very nice selection of American and British local craft beers. The bottle selection has probably more than a hundred with a lot of Belgian, American, Danish and Canadian craft beers.
Service was rather slow and average in my opinion. But overall, this is a nice London Pub, and probably the best Pub in the city if you want to taste a very wide and rich selection of craft beers.

Five minute walk from Pimlico station. Open and bright but the candle lights in the windows give it a heart warming romantic touch. Something like ten cask and keg selections and quite an amazing bottle list. Prices are ok, but expectedly aggressive when it comes to the rarities on the bottle list. However it is possible to buy bottles as take away with 30% discount. That is a good deal and a solution to the problem with the 750ml 10% alcohol American bottles. This way I can bring the bottle home and no one will know that I am drinking it alone in my underwear while pinching my nipples. Service was very attentive and knowledgeable, and the other guests did not get too much on my nerves except for this one bespectacled yapper who reminded me of Louis Theroux. I went on a Saturday night and felt the air getting hot. Like you, baby. I had plans to eat, but the seats were all taken, so I stood at the bar. By the time seating was available I was afraid to fall down if I tried to sit, so I had another beer and staggered home ashamed without trying the food.

Situated between Victoria and Pimlico, the building itself belies the treasure kept within.
A large single room with plenty tables and a good range of ever changing cask and craft ales, well looked after. Get lots of interesting beer on here, occasional tap takeovers. Food is good. Service good and friendly. Great pub

Visited on 10th December. What I love about the Cask is the wide range of beers and how they showcase different microbreweries. This time they were showcasing Harbour brewery beers – the light ale (3.7%) was really good as was their IPA. Tried some new dark stars – green hopped IPA was superb (but 6.5%!) but I never got round to trying their “crème brulee (!!!) Also tried kernel table beer, excellent considering it’s only 3.1%

As a burger fan i wanted to try the burger asked for it med rare but was told they have to cook them med well sadly my burger was way way over cooked and didn’t enjoy it thats the only bad thing about my visit. had a couple of cracking London beers and i would go back
