Before coming to Stuttgart I looked at the homepage and of course it said no beer available. So I wrote the brewery on fb and friendly enough, the brewer wrote me back and said that we should drop by anyway to have a chat. So we did, and he let us try the young wheat beer from the tank, and also another bottle of some beer that he brews for one client. Very friendly guy. Operation is very small, thats why its always sold out, but they have plans to slowly expand. Overall not much to do here though, except have a chat with the brewer. Big Plus: the place is even open if there is no beer available.

Opened up down my former street just months after I moved out of 0711. Basically still a one-man start-up with a very nice, always busy brewer mostly up for a chat, struggling to keep up with local demand. In 3 coincidental visits, I’ve never been able to get any of his ales or even Weissbier - only a commissioned beer. That while local distribution in a few pubs is mostly sold out as well and there are no taps to sample...Seems like you have to be there during a street fest/beer event to get a peek. Anyone visiting and passing through the BW capital who’s able to get his paws on any of the ales or seasonals and travelling down to Freiburg: get me a bottle, will you?

A small brewery with nothing else there except the equipment and storage. Sells bottles (1,20€), unfortunately only California Ale was available when I visited. Very friendly service from the brewer. Had a nice chat and he obliged me even though seemed a bit busy with cleaning. Definitely a recommended visit if you are anywhere nearby. Easy to reach via U-Bahn.

Stuttgart’s best kept secret when it comes to beer: hidden microbrewery in downtown Stuttgart. Daniel the master brewer runs the brewery as a one-man-show. Best local beer in Stuttgart at very reasonable prices. Interesting seasonal beers and occasional beer events.

This is a basement warehouse in the residential part of downtown, easily reachable by U-Bahn/S-Bahn. It’s only open in daytime hours, though.
