It would be fine if the owner wasnít the most sensitive guy around. It goes from being OK to terrible in a couple of minutes. Itís not worth putting up with given all the other better options around. No, this isnít piling on. Iím sure heís very happy with these reviews if it keeps non-core customers out.

Iíve popped in here a few times but have never felt welcome from the staff. I then heard stories about them which were less than complimentary and that doesnít dispose me too well towards them. The positives would be location and intimate chill space. Unfortunately, in my experience this is ruined by the staff who spend their time flirting with female customers and ignoring others. The tap list is minimal beyond Yona Yona. It is seriously not worth the visit when you have Tadgís or Bakujun 5 minutes away.

Very unfriendly/rude staff, also very unfriendly towards tourists. Would recommend avoiding this bar.

Not really much to write home about here. Yona Yona on cask and one other local beer tap. Guy behind the bar was friendly enough. Pub is a little tacky.

A small Irish pub in Kyoto, but with a decent ji-beer selection. They usually have Yona Yona Real Ale, as well as two rotating Japanese craft beers from the keg, along with Guinness and Heartland. Good prices, a little cheaper at happy hour. Nice enough atmosphere, rather young, mainly Japanese crowd. Not really many beer geeks here. Food is decent too. Worth a stop. Ownerís English is good.
