Finally popped in here while over in the Beaches recently. A very cool little space. Warm and inviting with a very convivial environment. I dig the decor and there was a solid selection of regulars and a few rotating casks when I was in. Lots of Belgians which although common if you’ve been around for awhile, are pretty hard to come by at any one time in Toronto. Fair prices for most stuff (although the casks were a bit spendy). Friendly bar staff and a great group of people. I’d be in here all the time if I lived in the neighborhood.

Great little places in Beaches near my house. Combine commie propoganda on the walls, reggae music and great beer - a good recipe for success. About 10 taps or so that rotate fairly regularly and tons of bottles, two full shelves of Belgians. Their menu never keeps up with their selection - you always have to check the fridge.

This was a pleasant surprise. Ambiance and atmosphere to spare. Small, crowded, great music, good beer, good food. The place was packed with what looked liked locals. Everone was friendly, bank was good. I’ll be back.

Smallish bar in the up and coming Beaches area. WIth a Belgian fest, it became very crowded. Service is trying, but they are not particularly knowledgeable. Go by the smokers in the front. A decent number of taps of local stuff. If you are in the very Southeast, this is a place to go for a tap. Almost all Belgians were LCBO.

Visited on a busy Saturday evening at the end of September 2007. A close-feel garage-windowed bar on busy Queen Street, bouncing cute Cuban-esque beach music off pictures of famous people on the walls. Service was ok. Good beer selection. Overall, would be an interesting local pub.

Cute little bar, it’s like a hole in the wall really. I used to live at Woodbine and Gerrard so it wasn’t too far for me to walk. Nice selection of belgian, but they don’t seem to educated on how to keep them, i often got bottles of Rochefort almost frozen served to me at the same temperature as a Coors Light. All the sediment has solidified, and i had HUGE floaters, and iw as chastized when i brought the bottle back, amd they argued with me that it was supposed to be like that. The food is minimal, all stuff made on a cooking board in the back, they dont have an oven. Meh, it you live nearby its a good place to find some beer you wont get at the LCBo but don t go looking for this place.

Breezy, slightly tacky little echoey cavern with a good selection of bottled beers and some fair draught options. Social vibe is mix of desperately bored Beach area youth and a few aging beerophiles. Food is nothing to stay for. Keep an eye on the bottle list, quite good for this slightly dull quiet part of town although prices used to be a little kinder to the restless Beaches dweller seeking respite from the seagulls and surf.
