Located in an industrial area of Anchorage isnít hard to find with a map or GPS. I went when they were having a mead and chocolate pairing. Super busy due to the limited tasting room space, but I will surely go back during one of there saturday 4-8 tastings they have almost every week. Their meads are done very well and I really enjoy them. The staff is very knowledgeable and helps find the right style to suite your liking. Worth the trip off the beaten path.

This place isnít hard to find with todayís GPS units and well, anyone that can read directions and a map. We found it no problem and I havenít lived in A-town for 15 years.
Very non-descript place and a small tasting bar inside. They have an incredible selection of a variety of different meads from ítableí meads to the high end stuff. All of it was fantastic and if I didnít like it, I have a history of not liking the herbs/spices that went into it.
Mike was awesome, he gave an impromptu tour of his facility and went over how he makes his meads. Having tried 3x to produce mostly rocket fuel, he expained what I was doing wrong and why. Iím sure the rest of the tourís non-homebrewers were bored but I ate it up. I def know what to do next time!
We bought a few bottles and snagged his business card. Only open on Sat from 4-8pm itís worth the stop if you get the chance.

Great little spot in Anchorage. Hard to find, but worth it. I lucked out being there during their open house and got to try 20+ of their meads with the brewer. Awesome service and atmosphere. Meadtastic!

Celestial Meads is set in a commercial area of town that can be a bit hard to find the first time. They are open most Saturdays 4:00-8:00p for tastings of all their meads and some snacks. The service is great and the owner Mike Kiker is always there to do a tour and answer questions. They have a wide variety of excellent meads and they will sample everything they currently have available. You can buy bottles and get growlers filled of the lower abv sparkling meads, so remember to bring your growler. Overall a great place to try some mead and learn about it too.
