Smaller sized brewpub/bar in SF. Stopped in a few times while visiting friends in SF. Sleek modern industrial type decor. Decent amount of seating and bar space considering the overall size of the place, however we were stuck standing on both visits, but no problem. Beers are top knotch, kind of reminds me of Tired Hands (from a quality and diversity perspective). The staff was friendly and cool. Will definitely be back.

Large bar area and a decent amount of seating. Great beer and always something interesting on tap. The ability to make your own flights here is awesome. Super friendly and knowledgeable service. A stoneís throw away from City Beer. Great neighborhood brewery experience.

My favorite beer made in SF. Great hoppy session beers, dark beers, barreled...you name it. My only complaint is no space, and itís ALWAYS packed. Service is spot on when busy, but being packed in like a sardine makes it not my first choice for a relaxing beverage.

This place rocks. Quintessential neighborhood brewery and tap room. These guys specialize in IPA, pale ale, and all things hoppy. Really top notch.

Visited during the SF beer week twice (February 2015) - Cool modern place on downtown. Good atmosphere but really noisy. Twice I got a headache about the noise. Service is fine and people are ok. Clean place with good beer selection from the brewery.

Just a block or two from City Beer, this is an attractive bar sporting a dozen taps of a wide range of brews. Most of the beers are of high quality and are served in 5oz or full pours. There are about a dozen stools at the bar and table seating for about 20 more folks. This place gets busy most of the time.

If youíre a hophead, this is a must-stop in San Fran. Itís a cozy little place with great service and great beer. They donít serve food, but they do serve snacks, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. They have other options besides APAs and IPAs as well, but their hoppy stuff is what got me hooked. Itís also right around the corner from City Beer Store, so you can hit up both spots in one session. Iím looking forward to seeing these guys grow and prosper.

Honestly my favourite brewery tap in the world. Amazing brews. It says a lot that when visiting a fabulous beer city such as SF, all I ever want to do is drink here.
All their own brews on tap, but still big points for selection, given the breadth of choice. These guys have been open only a year and have had 70+ beers on tap. Iíve never had a bad one. Their pale ales, IPAs and bigger hop-forward beers are some of the best around. So fresh too given the brewhouse out back. Their darker stuff is ace, as are their European styles (saison, English bitter, etc.).
Cool vibe, always buzzing, friendly and prompt service, great value. Why go anywhere else?
