Descent selection of beers, but they tend to take longer to get new beers in, compared to Halls and Mr.Gs. Great place to pickup seafood and fresh vegetables.

Want to buy beer on Sunday in Dallas? Go here. They have a very good selection (for Dallas), consisting of a lot of New Belgium, North Coast, Unibroue, and plenty of Belgians to make you happy. A shining star on the Southern Plains.

I go here to buy beer frequently. Probably the best selection in the metroplex. The staff has always seemed fairly knowledgeable whenever I had questions. They actually drink beer too, so they know a little about flavor profiles. Lots of America micros, lots of Texas micros (for what it's worth), plenty of imports. Huge wine selection as well. Meat market is great but expensive, just like the rest of the food there. Huge cheese selection.

Central Market stores are among the best place to buy beer in Dallas proper, excluding the suburbs, but they have lost some of their status as a leading place--Whole Foods may now rival within Dallas and there are better places in the suburbs. The service can be o.k.--willing to split sixpacks for their singles shelf if you ask them. But their singles shelf doesnít change frequently enough. The selection has some good things but they are SLOW in getting the new things to the Metroplex--their central office is understaffed. Some decent Belgians, good selection of Colorado beers, The food at Central Market is excellent gourmet but very expensive. Overall, Iíve stopped going here frequently because they donít react quickly to new beers or even get all the beers available in the area--new releases in Texas are invariably easier to find at the bottle shops such as S&K and Halls.
