This gets a much higher rating due to the RELATIVE to the area selection. This is the only place I’ve found in Madrid that sells American craft beer. For whatever reason right now they’ve got about 12 Flying Dog beers (bottle), as well as Titan and Hercules IPA. An IPA in Spain? Yes, it’s possible now. Their selection of British beer is also decent, mostly made up of ales you can find rather easily in GB, but not in Spain, i.e. more than Bass. it’s a fun bar; the staff will understand what beer you want but that’s about it. The area around this bar has quite a few other decent beer bars -- a near beer oasis in Madrid. The famous Cerveceria Oldenburg is about 2 minutes walk away.

German type place with very good (even great) selection of Spanish beers. The best at the time, maybe not so objective, but both Animal and Estribo were closed. Let’s say a bit pricey, 0,33 beers were 4.20€ and big bottles even more than 10€...Of course, you get some snacks with the drinks...all in all, worth a visit....

accidentally found the place full of people on a monday night because of artesanal beer festival. Very nice people introducing their products and the service of the bar itself was excellent. The food was excellent and good value as well. I´ll be back!

Located in the neighbourhood where are most of the beer spots in Madrid. They seemed to have quite a lot Spanish micros on their list but not all of them available. Well, there was still enough for me. And would be enough for couple of more visits. I liked the interior which was kind of a mix of German Bierstube and American pub. Would definitely visit again when in Madrid.

I specifically sought out this place to try a new country, Andorra, and got there just before closing. The bartender said they don’t have the beer when I asked by country, then by brewer and he tried to push other stuff one me. Finally he found one. Kind of a strange experience. I couldn’t tell if he didn’t want to sell it or if he really didn’t know what he had. I tried a Spanish beer after that which was very disappointing. They have a large selection but I found little of interest beyond the new country tick.Lots of common UK beers on offer too.
