Great bottled selection from around the world, and good value considering it is in such a touristy part of Madrid.

Nice cervecería with a good selection of beer, especially Belgian. Decent beer menu and prices. Relaxed atmosphere in the middle of a touristy area. (Visited 2012-08-18)

Un bar mas, con una seleccion corta convencional y comercial, atencion regulera

Una gran decepción. Vendida como una de las grandes de Madrid, la decoración es estupenda y tiene varios grifos. Los camareros no diferenciarían una Mahou de una Westbleteren, y atienden con desánimo. La selección de cervezas muy manida y los precios caros. Al menos se han animado a tener Cibeles, porque la evolución en el resto muy poca.

Un local situado en el centro de Madrid. Es dónde empecé a descubrir nuevas cervezas y desde entonces no he podido parar. Muy buen servicio, muy profesional. Buena variedad, se agradece que tengan tapas frias.

We stumbled across the place right in the middle of the main touristy areas of Madrid, and boy are we glad we did. You can tell it’s a beer-oriented place just by looking in the window, piled high with caps from hundreds of quality beers. Inside, in addition to 3-4 good European offerings on tap, this place offers a wide variety of good bottled beer, heavily tilted to Belgians, but also with some good British, European and even a couple American selections. The main man here is Herme. Although he speaks no English and I no Spanish, we quickly bonded over our love of good beer and all things beer related ... and he helped stock my breweriana collection. Great place -- highly recommended to anyone visiting Madrid and looking for a little beer sanctuary.
