A nice spot in a part of town that’s not heavily traveled. This place is not too far from Las Ventas bullfighting arena, yet is situated in a residential block. The beer selection is average for a "Belgian" bar in Madrid, don’t expect anything unusual, but there is definitely more here than just the normal Spanish lagers. Aventinus often on tap and well poured. Service is good, the place is small and fun to be in -- really quite a local bar. Recommended as a beer bar in a beer-starved (good beer) city.

Local, small pub atmosphere. Friendly knowledgeable staff, run by family. They have the glassware and know how to use it. You will find mostly German and Belgian styles, in bottles and on tap, though there is a lot of rotation here. Very nice place to drink beer, though it is quite expensive.
