I can’t imagine a better shop in Spain; plenty of traditional beer (German and Belgian), innovative beer (Italy, Denmark etc…), and Spanish micros; as a plus, I found a rare BFM, 1 Spanish Ice Cider, 2 Kuhnhenn meads. The prices are a bit high, at least for the special beers, for the 33cl are still less than in Italy (3€ for Spanish micros). Unfortunately I read too late the comment below, I was there on Tuesday and didn’t get a 10% discount.
As possible evolution I can just imagine getting a license for drinking on the sidewalk, and I would like to see how they perform on rotation, as I was there only once.

Small beershop with really nice selection of Spanish and foreign beers. Ok prices, US beers are a bit too expensive but never mind. 10-15 beers in the fridge, credit cards accepted. A bit timid owner that speaks English and knows about the beers. We were alone for about 15 minutes but after that the shop went pretty crowded. Worth a visit for sure.

Nice beer store with good selection of quality beers. Lots of Belgian, American and German. Some Danish, Spanish and English too. Mostly high quality beers, except some industrial lagers from Eastern Europe. Friendly service and good prices.

What beer lover would not feel good when entering a small shop with all walls covered with decent beers. Service is excellent, realy helping me with my quest, this time finding decent Spanish beers. Nice selection craft beers. Reasonable prices

ONe of the best(and scarce) beer stores in Madrid.
Updated Jan 2013: one year after our first visit shows a lot more beers, some really hard to find. Excellent selection, and good service.

Quite good beer shop for people in Madrid. Good selection of beer from Belgium,Germany and USA. However, as I can usuallyfind these I was a bit disappointed of the spanish micro selection ( which some of the bars have a great selection of). However, they had a both from La Virgin + 4-6 more.

Small shop with an impressive selection of Spanish, European & N. American brews. Far and away the best availability of anywhere I went in Madrid. Staff was great & helped me out immensely despite my (extremely) limited Spanish. Unsure how things work in Spain but it seems like they’re importing things themselves - saw a bunch of beers from Ontario breweries that I’m pretty sure aren’t exported. Prices were reasonable. Belgians certainly cost more than they would have in Belgium but FAR less than they would cost in the US.

Very small but very well stocked bottle shop. Great selection with beers from Cantillon, Mikkeller, Kernel, Westbrook, Anchorage, Against the Grain and a bunch of Spanish craft I hadn’t seen before. Prices were great--cheaper than I’d seen elsewhere in Europe for the same beers. The guy working during my visit spoke very little English but was still helpful.
