It pays to be a member. $25 gets a 22oz beer for the price of a 16oz pint. You also get 10% off of keg purchases, $1 off growlers and refills. If you love hops then the IPA is for you. Way beyond a micro brewery. The food is always great-awesome salads and appetizers and the black & blue burger is outstanding! Great place to watch the game and the best place to watch the mountains turn pink at sunset.

I like this place a lot. First, it’s beautiful: the copper bar is my favorite part. The outdoor fire place is also nice. It’s in the parking lot of a movie theatre....so a drink before or after (or both) is always an option. Big fan of the green chile fondue.

#100 place rating!! Awesome brewpub off the highway in Albuquerque. It is quite a large place with a very large, near rectangular central bar, plus plenty of tables and a small amount of outdoor seating. Staff is super attentive, filling your water glass, asking if you want more beer when you have more than a few sips left. The beer menu features 6 regulars plus 4 seasonals which appear to rotate pretty quickly. $2.50 pints on Wednesday. The food menu is impressive but expensive ($15+ entrees and even the appetizers are generally $7-9). We split 2 appetizers (the truffle blue cheese fries which were good and the chicken satays which were awesome). So the food is definitely worth it, but prepare yourself for the prices. A regular crowd, definitely not too upscale. Also watch for the free breadbasket that comes around ~6pm. Overall, an enjoyable place, great beers that rotate frequently, and great food.

After the last two times I am much more enthusiastic about coming here. The more specials they have on draft, the better - apparently, the fall months are that time. Very ambitious selection of fruit beers, browns, Belgians. Maybe execution isn’t always there, and maybe you have to time it just right to have a good special on tap... but when things work out, the place is money.

Nice upscale (but unpretentious) brewpub with a good selection of above-average brews. Copper bar and outdoor fireplace seating is very comfy. Nice variety and quality of food. A bit pricey on some items, but not ridiculously so, given the quality.

Chama River Brewing CO is more of an upscale brewing company. The food is a bit on the pricey side, but the quality is top notch! On my visit I had a pint of the stout and a pint of the brown ale...both of which were delicious. I purchased a growler of the stout to go, and it ran $13. The pints were on happy hour for $2.50 which is cheap compare to the price of the food. I would estimate the average price of an entree was $13 or so. I would definitely recommend this place, and I will definitely visit the next time I am in the area!

Serious beer lovers should go during the day if you can. I’ve spent abundant enjoyable hours here. Food is very good, but somewhat pricey. The beer ranges from good to excellent. They always have 6 quality standards plus 3 or 4 specialty beers that are often very interesting. Talk to Ted or Jeff if you get a chance.

Staying one night in Albuquerque before going to El Paso for 2 weeks. Really nice place and much more upscale than I expeted. Had the crab cake which was pretty good and the truffle blue cheese fries which were average. 10 beer on tap. 6 regulars and 4 specials. The 2 IPAs and the DIPA I had were all very good. Nice atmosphere and a very large bar. Wish every town I visited had a place like this. Wish I could of met Erway while I there. I recommend this place to anybody who visits Alburquerque.

Let me start out that this place is more than I expected from a Micro Brewery. It was jammed pack on a Tuesday, I was impressed as I barely found a stool at the bar. Met one of the bartenders from the tap room location and he broke down a lot of the choices. It’s no secret I am a dark beer guy, but I was really digging their IPA and Belgium blonde. You can tell the brewer takes a lot of pride in his trade. I was able to sample the seven beers they had on tap in 4 oz glasses for only dollar each. Lets say my tab was far less than the cab ride from my hotel! There were servers walking around with bread that is any samplers delight. I wish they had a few more beers, but I guess that will give me another reason to come back. This place is a must stop if your in Albuquerque!
