Sam Smith’s are usually a bit short on real ale. However, the Chandos is rather historical. Best in the "off" hours. It should not be missed, and there are other pubs nearby, if this disappoints.

A Sam Smith house with all the usual beers but perhaps not all the usual character most S. Smith pubs have. Typically damn busy in the evenings with youngsters and tourists. Beers are cheap as per the S. Smith standard. This place doesn’t come close to comparing with The Harp, which is just a two-minute walk east. If you’re desperate for beer and The Harp [for whatever reason] isn’t an option, you can come here instead.

Ok place off Trafalgar Square. Nothing special, but you can pop in for the usual Samuel Smith line.

Visited this pub lots of times, and it´s almost a must to go for a fish and chips and an Old Brewery Best Bitter, whenever I am in London with my parents :-). The pub has a very cost, relaxed atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and it seems people come here to have a good time and meet up with friends. Beers are in good condition, the food is traditionel pub menu, and it is rather cheep, baring in mind where this pub is placed.. And we will be back next time, we all go to London..

Typical Sam Smiths pub, but in tourist area London. Old Brewery Bitter the only cask beer (as normal in Sam Smiths), but plenty of keg beers of theirs to try and bottles of course. I was in there on the Saturday of The Boat Race, so lots of Posh Toffs in the place. That however was countered by a huge number of Grimsby Town football fans who had just had a photo shoot and sing song in Trafalgar Square, a 100 metres down the road. The place was rammed, but the staff managed very well and everyone including the staff, appeared to be enjoying themselves. Still a very cheap drinking hole, just like all Sam Smiths pubs. I have used it again when it wasn’t Boat Race Day, but it was still busy because of its location and prices.

Crowded Sam Smith’s pub just off Trafalgar Square. Can get very busy which unsurprisingly can lead to slow service. Very cheap for this part of London.

Been here so many times on different visits over the years, and I always enjoying having a pint in this elegant but fairly relaxing setting. Right in the thick of tourist central (and hey, I’m a tourist) but nice if you hit it at the right time. Selection isn’t the greatest but I have a soft spot for this brewery and its pubs. Certainly a good place to stop if you’re in the area for food and/or museums.

Samuel Smith’s pubs are fairly nice, and this one is no exception (even more so as it is now smoke free) - as long as you accept the choice of 1 - one - cask ale, and several beers from the SS range on keg or bottle.

Pretty smokey pub, i’ve been in here for one quick pint on occassions and come out smelling like i’d been trapped in a chimney for a week. Samuel Smith beers aren’t my cup of tea really, but i suppose if you like that kind of stuff, you should check it out.

Fairly nice Sam Smith’s, less scruffy than many, very packed with tourists near Trafalgar Square.
