Really nice place, but very often very crowded. Good selection of casks. Service is usually friendly, but may vary.

The best option in København if you are eager for a cask ale. A very small pub and crowded a late Friday evening. Although the pub was packed, friendly and efficient service. I only had a half pint of Westerham Vic Secret since I couldn’t find a free spot to enjoy more beers. Next time in town I will for sure visit earlier. (Visited September 18th 2015)

Tiny pub just off Strøget, so often very crowded. As the previous reviews already has stated lots of nooks and cranny’s in this place. The main attraction is the cask beers, which is a rarity in a city otherwise flooded with excellent beer bars. The times I’d paid a visit the beers always seems to be in good condition. Very crowded and warm on a Saturday night in July - that is no surprise. Will pop in here again outside of the rush hours if I fancy a pint of cask ale.

Located in central Copenhagen close to Kongens Nytorv metro station and in walking distance from Nørreport and the central station.
As mentioned by many others this is a small bar that gets crowded and noisy on peak times, so not the place I would go on a Friday afternoon or evening. No music, the walls are plastered with beer memorabilia and the doofus regulars have their own tin mugs to drink from. When the bar is less busy it is a good place to visit with the cask beers being the main attraction for me, but there is also something like ten kegs with pretty standard stuff and a selection of whiskey too.
Six rotating casks, and the beers I have had here were all in fine condition with some being pretty good beers, so it is a place I like to come back to.
Service is usually prompt and friendly and samples are served. No food I think, but given the location it is easy to find something near by.

Authentic English cask house, pretty small. 6 handpumps, 5 on when I visited. Interesting selection of keg, Czech, Belgian and English along with native offerings.

Visited January 2015, saw it from across the street. At first it seemed like a touristic English pub, but the Cask Marque plaque revealed that this is not the case. Old-style cask bar with tons of breweriana on the walls and ceiling. 3 casks were active when we were there - two went under repair. Cynical staff but all’s good and it probably comes with the territory :) No music which is kinda cool. Overpriced but tasty vegan food across the street.

Very small bar near the mainstreet (Stroget) in Copenhagen. Best place in town to get cask beers. Nice changing beer selection and the prices are resonable.

One of the smallest pubs I’ve ever been to. Actually, that is the reason I rarely go there - at peak hours the place is terribly crowded and that’s the times I usually go out. Still, that being said - it’s a nice place and they always have some good beer on tap. Definitely worth a visit - as long as you go outside of peak hours.

A must a visit place. All beers on cask, a real english place in the heart of Copenhagen. Old school ambiance. A small place but with a big beer history.

Very cool british place. Small, cozy and a bunch of nice casks. Very friendly and chatty staff and lots of regulars hanging in the bar. One of the top places in Copenhagen in my opinion.

Visited several times, great place to go if you are up for some real cask beers. Cosy small pub, close to the city center, and therefor easy to get to. Friendly staff, nice selection of beers, normally served in good condition :-). No food is served, only beers :-)
