Alltid spennende øl fra cask her, men betjeningen er lite oppmerksomme, de har det for travelt med å pumpe øl. Men sannsynligvis det beste stedet i København for engeleske cask ales. Pluss for at der ikke er musikk, minus for at det ofte er overfylt. Fint på enkelte ukedager når man ikke må presse seg inn.

Nice, fake English pub with wooden panelling and lots of English beer memorabilia. Quiet place with only conversation. Rather small. Has some real athmosphere, since many people clearly come here to sit at the bar and chat with each other and the barkeepers. Nice selection of rare English ales, plus some more standard Danish craft and other beers. Lovely place.

Pretty authentic atmosphere in this tiny and narrow english pub in the heart of København; broad selection of british beers plus some "exotic" brews from Bohemia, Ireland and Germany. Unfortunately not all beers were in perfect condition… Nevertheless always worth a visit!

A Copenhagen classic. Not to be missed. Excellent selection of British ales in a tiny pub just off Stroeget.

The atmosphere is quite fanstastisk. This is the place to go if you need real ale. Here the beer is pumped from the barrels as at the English pubs, and it remains a great way to get served a beer at.

impressive assortment of hand pumps and taps featuring British, German and Czech along with some Danish products. cozy and warm atmosphere in a small, friendly setting. prices high as expected. this one was worth coming back again to try more.

Visited July 9th. Superb selection of casks. 6 taps with cask. Nice decor with a coastered ceiling, wooden tables, benches and chairs. A must visit if you’re in to cask beer.

Small cosy place with a polite service. They have a good selection of Danish/Irish/German/Belgian tap beers though they rarely change. The real reason to go here is their British cask ales, which change frequently. Prices are very fair.

Four or five steps down from the pavement takes you into what looks like an old English pub. Crammed full of beery stuff and six different cask conditioned British Ales to choose from. There was also a selection of Danish beers on tap, which I had (I can get cask ales any old day at home). It was the Saturday evening during the 1st European Beer Festival and the place was heaving with people; we had to wait for a seat. We were soon joined by a bunch of locals who engaged us in conversation on beer and life in general. They were all Real Ale fans. The barman was British, as were some of the customers. Good quality beers and good company, what more do you need?

Long bar, few tables, too little place in there as it is quite popular so it is difficult to pass one another. A lot of taps primarily with Brithis everchanging beers. A good deal of them cask beer. The staff is friendly and English speaking although I guess they can speak Danish. The staff has a good knowledge of the beers they serve as well as a general knowledg of beer. As in many British bars the staff does however have a tendency to serve non-regulars in a somewhat arrogant way. Do nlot know if food is served.
