The premium pub in all Copenhagen for English ales. Constantly rotating selection of casks and kegs and some very good Danish + German beers on tap, notably the divine Aventinus. Unfortunately not covered by anti-smoking act room size standards, Charlie’s remains a horifically hazy den of nasty nicotine at most times, but the magnificent and supremely well-poured beer has kept me a regular for years now. Cut the cigs and the room mightn’t feel so cramped.

Small place with good atmosphere, and good selection of cask ales, served on handpump. Also a fairly good selection of draught beers, but for me the ales,- usually well kepted, makes this place worth a visit.

One of the best places in town - but maybe to small. They have a wide sortiment of beers and you can actually taste the beer before you biy it

This is the spot for English cask ales in Copenhagen... definitely worth a visit. Pleasant local pub type atmosphere is clean, small and well laid out. Service is very friendly and knowledgeable about what is on tap and what is upcoming. Half a dozen hand pumps that are well kept and about eight other taps compete with a tidy little bottle selection for your attention. Bar snacks are available but no real food.

It has been the first place outside UK where I found Real Ales, so I have it "In my heart"; some cask ales are really great, the only sin is that they indulge too much on Fuller’s, and also on watery ales. Viva Crouch Vale!

What the others said. Cramped but nice, and British cask ales are definitely worth the visit.

Nice selection of English beers on cask, and some nice additional taps as well. Definitely worth checking out when you’re in town.

Managed to squeeze a visit to this place on my last evening in Copenhagen for the RBESG. Nice selection of UK beers, which understandably I wasn’t there for (but which were impressive nonetheless). A couple Danish micros too. Good service, and the walls are crammed with interesting breweriana.

Cozy and propably the most British pub in CPH. Besides cask ales, they have some maybe a bit more rare Danish on tap too. Revisit in 2013: Lots of Crouch Valley on cask now. Very British but maybe needs some face-lift? Some of tap beers were same than in 2006!
