Small selection of beers. Has some quite rare Belgians and English beers. Service is ok as well.

Used to visit this place when living over this way many years back, and at the time it was to stock up on Marmite and other Brit staple foods I missed. Hearing that it now has beers was interesting going back to visit. It still has that timeless "old world" shop look and feel I remembered and glad to see not much has changed and still many great foods from across the world. Service was friendly as before. Beer wise as others have mentioned selection is very small, on our visit had some UK/Danish/Belgium/US bottles but nothing that rare/unusual on our visit. Still worth popping in to step back in time though and to visit and support such a unique place, its type which sadly are dying out being replaced by cloned soulless chain stores.

This is a very atmospheric little shop that dates back to 1921. The interior is basically what it was nearly a hundred years ago, and the distinguished and knowledgeable clerks even wear white coats as they did back then. The shop specializes in specialties, craft beer and fine wine and spirits. British snacks, American hotsauces and even Cuban cigars are on the shelves here. It’s definitely a small boutique, but it is quite charming. Beer selection is not the largest in town, but they have what the others don’t, and very often some VERY rare breweries represented. One of the oldest shops in downtown Aarhus, and I don’t mind paying a little ekstra if it means Chas.E will be there for another 100 years

old tiny specialty food, wine and spirit shop. Nice, but small, selection of beers. Friendly and knowable service. Placed on the main walking / shopping street in Århus and well worth a visit when passing by.

Food specialty shop that also boasts a few special beers. The beers found here are not always available anywhere else in downtown Aarhus, so it could be worth a stop.

Tiny (and I really mean tiny) but very cosy and charming store. They had about 20 beers when I was there (a couple of Mikkeller, Green Flash, and Goose Island) but it’s not exactly a beer shop though you might get lucky and find something to make it worth your while to visit the shop.

Cosy, old shop with atmosphere and soul. Have an interesting selection of microbrews. The supply varies, but it is usually possible to find an interesting Belgian, American or Danish beer. The service is usually competent.

Small and nostalgic store with 20+ beers. Mostly Belgians with a few Americans, British and Italians as well. Polite service. Nothing to travel for, but if you pass by anyway, have a look.

Food and liquid speciality store. Few beers but usually beers you can’t get anywhere else in Århus.
