Second Moeder Lambic in Brussels, amazing place to taste too many beers! This place is near the center of Brussels. The place is huge and the bar is really bigger, with too many taps (more than 40). I was there for the Brussel Italian Beer Festival # 2, and bar keeper are really friendly and will give you advice to make your choice. The place is clean and it’s a good bar to stay in Brussels to discover amazing beers. Food is also good (during the festival there was preparation about typical Italian food). Beers are not cheap but for sure not expensive! Amazing place for amazing beer geek, it’s the place to be when you are in Europe!

Visited several times but first as a ratebeerist. Situated 10-15 mins from Midi and 10 from Centraal a large single roomed bar with nice covered outside area. Landed in the midst of Italian beer weekend. All good stuff and great mix of Belgian and other beers on tap. A must if you visit Brussels

Nice place. Nice seats. LIve band was playing, but that was more ennoying than entertaining... way too loud. But still, service is ok, selection is excellent... You can spend a nice evening there enjoying a few rare beers! Update: most of the time when you go there, it’s really quiet. Not many people visit this bar. But still, must do for every beer geek. Update²: Visited for over 50 times during the last 2-3 years. The standard selection they have is well chosen, with a lot of nice Belgian stuff (light/hoppy and lambics). The specials are always interesting as well. Mainly from France and Italy. A cool place with friendly bartenders. Highly recommended! TO EVERYONE VISITING BRUSSELS, give me a heads up, I’d love to trade/share some bottles!

Those who know me can understand the excitement I feel when seeing numerous world-class sub-6% hoppy Belgian goldens on the taplist (e.g. L’amer des Moedersby Brasserie de Jandrain-Jandrenouille, De la Senne Zinnebir and Taras Boulba, XXX Bitter, etc.), so a pub stocking such well-handled beers of this ilk alone, would garnered a 90 from me. And with an extensive, easy to navigate bottle list, two beer engines (the De la Senne cask offering was served yeast-murky and in poor condition, alas), a bunch of hand-pumped Cantillons and three types of high-quality quiche to quell the munchies, a 90+ score is a no-brainer for me. Only quibble was the very slow albeit perfectly polite and personable service, which was due to the pub being woefully understaffed. Come here and be happy.

Visited in 2011. We visited Cantillon first and then stopped at this pub on the way back. Great selection on both tap and bottle. We only had a couple of beers. Nice to see you get some malt as snacks.

Central, nice selection, the service is variable. Avoid it if you see a group of Anglo doing a beer tour of Brussels.

Nice cozy bar placed just a few minutes walk from Grand Place. Great taplist ranging in style from some good gateway belgain ales, blondes etc.(that my wife likes) to Cantillons on cask, other sours, some good Italians, French, etc options. Great quality and condition all around. Extensive bottle list with loads of good stuff to. Good prices, allthough some of the bottles gets a tad expensive. The raw milk cheese platter was excellent, good quality and plenty for 2 persons. Service was fast and attentive, spoke a good english. Would love to go back.

Located right off one of the busy roads leading to the Grote Markt, this spacious bar has a truly impressive selection, especially of taps. These include the classic Cantillon stuff, a number of other well-known and respected Belgian brews, and several French, Swiss and Italian goodies. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I haven’t tried the food but it looks really good. Mid-range prices. Nice atmosphere. A must-visit when in Brussels.

Lively pub, no music. Fast, friendly and knowledgeable service. Good recommendations. Good taplist, tap bier is more expensive than the other pubs I visited in Brussels, bottles are more expensive but there are some nice gems there.

Nice place to stop for a drink while in Brussels. Cool atmosphere with a pretty nice tap selection. Met up with Bjorn and shared a drink (thanks!). Right near all the tourist spots too.
