I prefer the other one, here great selection on draught beer, but I miss some good stuff in bottle. A little bit expensive.

Love this place. Best selection of drafts in Brussels and a good rare bottle list that unfortunately I have only once dipped into. Very nice atmosphere although some might find the decor a bit bright and minimal. Always has a good mix of people in there. Worth going purely for the Cantillon and Drie Fonteinen on the handpulls, but there is always so much to choose from.

Trendy beer bar in Brussels. Good list of stuff on tap, not much in the way of bottles, good snacks (along the lines of bread and cheese, bread and paté, etc.). Funny the Flemish name with waiters who don’t speak it, but it’s Brussels after all -- despite things being supposedly "equal" linguistically, Brussels is basically Francophone, so no surprise really.
If lambics are your thing, might be worth a try -- but be prepared to be separated from your euros.

Great location with a perfect service. The place to be in Brussels to taste belgians craft beers like Brasserie de la Senne and of course lambics from Cantillon and Drie Fonteinen.

2010-08. Visited on an empty Monday afternoon last July, and then again the next day, we enjoyed the beer selection and tried quite a few good brews on tap. It’s an upscale place with a good layout on the main floor, renovated with tall bar stools and open floors and comfortable booths. (The ladies downstairs is unfortunately appalling, with cramped quarters in the stalls and looks straight into the urinals across the hall.) The bartender was very friendly and even recommended some good selections on our second visit, having recognized us from before. Would like to return one day. (4/10/13/NA/8/14) 82%

I had high expectations about Moeder Lambic Fontainas but to my big surprise I found out that it is severely overrated. They have an impressive list of beers on tap, but that is pretty it. The beers on bottle list is far from impressive, except for the prices. 10 EUR for a Girardin Gueuze 37,5cl?? They have to be kidding? Even the most ordinary gueuzes were ridiculously expensive. The waiter was friendly but was not able to give a good explanation. As far as I could notice there were only foreign people in the café. I guess that Belgians prefer to go to other places that offer better value for money. If you like geuze and other lambic beers you are better off at the Grote Dorst just outside Brussels.

relaxed atmosphere in a busy circle near central brussels. arrived 1230 on a thursday. one other person in the bar. beer servied with a small bowl of barley malt. stone floor. nice wooden tables. modern, yet classic look and feel. black and white lambic related pictures (mainly people) on the walls. jazz plahing in the background. bartender was quite knowledgable. classic quiche was very good. awesome place. 5 cantillon beers on tap including unblended lambic, faro, and krieklambic. also had a couple tilquin lambic on tap. the 5 beers i had were all 3-4 euros a pour. heavenly place. would return in a heartbeat. a must visit. with the beer list here, better save time for along session.
