Easily the best bar in the heart of Brussels for lambics, with a pretty nice selection of vintage bottles and always some Cantillons on tap (including the Kriekenlambik, Faro, Oude/Jonge Lambik, and others). Prices are very highly marked up for lots of the bottles, so you’d do better to get many of them elsewhere in Belgium. Food is very good and pretty reasonably priced. Service is solid and the servers know their stuff. Mandatory stop in Brussels - much better than the St Gilles location.

Slow Service. Unfriendly service. Ok selection. Ok food. Overpriced. Price/quality ratio: below par.

Had to wait couple of minutes to get our order taken. Then had to order certain stuff two times until it was received about 15 Minutes later. Utterly overpriced bar, doesn’t matter if it’s in Brussels or not, it’s ludicrous. Selection is the best thing, since they have some nice De La Senne’s and Cantillons.

Really don’t understand the high ratings for this place. Yes there are plenty of ’ticks’ for the saddo beer geeks but the place is utterly devoid of atmosphere. Good beer is one thing but I do like a nice cafe in which to drink it. LIke Brewdog cafes in the UK it’s the sort of hip, ’Place to be Seen’ cafe that will seem so dated in a few years. Only recommended to serious beer tickers. They also need to sort out the unbearable stink in the toilets.

Nice place. Nice seats. LIve band was playing, but that was more ennoying than entertaining... way too loud. But still, service is ok, selection is excellent... You can spend a nice evening there enjoying a few rare beers!
Update: most of the time when you go there, it’s really quiet. Not many people visit this bar. But still, must do for every beer geek.
Update²: Visited for over 50 times during the last 2-3 years. The standard selection they have is well chosen, with a lot of nice Belgian stuff (light/hoppy and lambics). The specials are always interesting as well. Mainly from France and Italy. A cool place with friendly bartenders. Highly recommended!
TO EVERYONE VISITING BRUSSELS, give me a heads up, I’d love to trade/share some bottles!

Excellent place. Lots on tap, including several nice Cantillon. Staff were attentive and helpful. Location was easy to get to. Not a ton to select from in terms of food. Its also cool that they put some malted grains on your table to nibble on.
