Stopped in here on an afternoon. It’s just a short walk from one of the train stops. I can’t remember at the moment, but it’s one of the last stops that go south. There is indoor and outdoor seating. When we arrived, the outside seating was full, and we were the only people that sat inside. All of their beers, including their bottles, written on chalk boards placed all over the walls. This location doesn’t have quite as large of a selection as the Fontainas location, but the exceptional quality is still there. Our server was not as friendly as the ones we had in the city, so I can’t really speak to his beer knowledge. I imagine it would be hard to get a job here if you aren’t beer savvy, though. Anyway, the beer we ordered was served in the proper labeled glass, and arrived quickly after we ordered it. Pricing was pretty good. Pretty good beer spot overall. I would come back here anyway.

I’ve been planning to visit this place for years and finally made it last Friday. Small but cosy, friendly atmosphere and good selection with attention for foreign beer trends, still a rare phenomenon in Belgium. The owner was among the most passionate and welcoming beer guys I ever met: he even offered me to take a look at the cellar, where we exchanged our views on aging beer; after that, he even offered me a few beers, including a vintage Abbaye des Rocs, for free. If this was closer to where I live, I’d visit this every week. I left the place with a happy feeling. Highly recommended!

The better of the two locations by far in my opinion. A bit out side of the downtown area, it’s the quintiessential Belgian Beer Bar. Really nice bottle and tap selection. A small selection of meats and cheeses. Knowledgable staff and proper presentation.

Great cosy "local" pub, pretty small and potentially crowded, but we managed to get seats on the outside on a lovely spring afternoon. Great selectio, and friendly and helpful staff.

My favourite bar in Brussels, with the most knowledgeable staff in town, always ready to help you choosing your beer. Some gems on tap but more impressive is their bottle collection (around 300 different ones). Don’t expect to find beer from the big or mid-sized breweries here, they only seel the real artisanal stuff. As it is not in downtown, it is usually full with locals. The bar is small and cozy, but can get too crowded. There is no food, only some appetizers (great selection of cheeses and delicious sausage sundried with beer) One of the msot genuine Belgian bars in Brussels.

Quite small "corner-bar". A lot of bottled beer and some tap beers. They have books and games for the bored and lonely guests as well. Real charming little bar that gets really hot and humid during the evening.

The smaller, and "original", Moeder Lambic. A really cosy and small place with great service and a superb selection of beers, albeit a bit smaller than at the Fontainas. Had some very nice food for a fair price there. I love it.
