What a great spot! Glad to finally visit. Strange location, but cool. Extensive bottle selection, quite a few things (mostly Pac NW locals) I hadnít seen in Seattle before, plus plenty of fancier specials and imports. Even random things like Tusker from Kenya. But Iíll stay for the great tap list, which theyíll serve in half-pints. All available for growlers (and half growlers). Food trucks park out front daily, which is very cool. Great spot, worth a special trip if youíre in town, and wish it was in my neighborhood.

I donít get why this place is so popular personally. If you arenít walking or biking, parking can be a pain in the ass. The store seems cluttered with items for sale, often with beer stored in less than desirable conditions. Draft selection is usually pretty solid, but prices are on the high side (same with the bottles), and the glassware sucks (enough with mason jars). I guess the idea behind the store works in a neighborhood where parents donít have a ton of options to grab a beer and bring their kids in. For me, I would rather not enjoy my beer in such an environment. Probably worth a stop for an out of towner who is in the area, but being a local this isnít a place I would frequent.

Dang solid beer market with a pretty darn impressive selection of West coast beers and decent stock beyond. 30 taps, pretty chill vibe, nice place. Dogs and babies welcome.

Excellent selection and quality mix of taps make it one of the top Seattle bottle shops. Would definitely make this my neighborhood hangout if I lived in the area.

Probably my favorite bottle shop in the Seattle area. Prices are pretty standard, the selection is as good as any you will find, plus heís got a bunch of rotating taps with local stuff and other goodies. Chuck and his staff always seem very knowledgeable and helpful. They are nice guys to just have a conversation with. You can tell he loves his job. Makes a damn fine IPA braut too. It could pass as a corner convenience store, but make no mistake, this is a great place to hit up. Edit* I am now employed here. I wrote my rating before I became employed, but could understand if it needs to be taken down.

Cool place. No need to give the full overview, since others have covered it, but stuff I like: Big draft list with some nice offerings; I can take my kid here; Can also shop for bottles; Friendly vibe; Stuff I donít like as much: the pint as a standard serving unit (no interest in a $14 pint of tasty, strong beer, though I guess half-pints are available if you ask); bottle prices are a bit high (by about 10% or so). Itís sort of hard to figure out if this is intending to be more of a bottle shop or more of a bar. Itís somewhere in between, with a good dash of convenience store thrown into the mix.

Chuckís 85th St Market is a gem in the neighborhood. Right down the Street and full of a great selection of brews - anything from schwill to Angels Share. Not over priced like a few other stores in town. Knowledgable and interested in beer in general, Chuck will gladly geek out with you and chat it up. Only going to get better from here! If you live in the hood or are stopping through Seattle, this is definitely worth a check, and will possible find something rare for a few dollars cheaper.

Simply amazing! Along with the knowledgeable stuff(Chuck himself is god-like) there are lots of well-picked taps and even more so bottles. Beer and wine tastings, homebrewerís get-togethers, espresso&ice-cream, FOOD. Youíll always find beer nerds hanging out here; besides, the crowd is not as pretentious as at Bottleworks.

We love going to Chucks, totally unique spot as a former grocery store turned beer drinkers haven. They have so many great beers and if they donít have it, talk to Chuck. He can get it.
