This place is all about the beer. It has an understated tap room sitting off to the side of the brewery. Itís nothing much to look at and than the bar in it doesnít have a bar type feeling, if that makes sense. The beers on draft were incredible. Humidor Jai Alai, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie and Sound of Big Wood were the stand outs but the Maduro Brown and Zhukovís Imperial Stout were also top notch. Service was very good, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Cigar City defiantly deserves itís reputation.

We hit up Cigar City last Saturday around 11:30 AM and really enjoyed the beers. I sampled everything they had on tap and loved pretty much everything. They had nine beers on tap. My favorites were Marshal Zhukovís Imperial Stout and the Humidor Series IPA. We ended up buying bottles of Guava Grove and Humidor IPA as well as a six pack of Jai Alai and a souvenir snifter. We were glad we stopped by.
Edit: Weíve been back several times and have had good-great service on each return trip. The selection has grown and the crowds are definitely much larger now. I canít recommend this place enough. Phenomenal beer.
EDIT II: Weíve been back many times and it just keeps getting better. I was lucky enough to be there last week when they had Brandy Barrel Hunahpuís on draft. I was blown away.

A must visit if youíre in the area. Their beer is just amazing across the board. Friendly service, subtle environment on a weekday afternoon. No food, so make sure you plan accordingly. There was probably 7 or so CC taps and a couple of guest taps. Bottles, jars, and growlers to go.

Stopped by on a Thursday afternoon and had the place to ourselves, at least for a while. The bartender was friendly without being over bearing, and of course the CCB beers were outstanding. No food, but they let us order some delivery stuff (which was pretty good, as well). Cool place, well worth the visit.

Went with the South Florida Beer Crew for the Double Barrel Aged Zukhov release party. It was pretty crowded but the overall tap selection was out of this world. I would love to check this place out when itís not too crowded.

It has been so interesting to see CCB grow from the early days when my husband would come home from helping out completely black with dirt to sitting last night at the bar enjoying the Loko Cuisine dinner and beer. Congrats to Joey, Wayne and all the people who make CCB a friendly, welcoming place to be. The release parties have always gone smoothly due to proper planning, adequate parking and everyone enjoying the beer so much that any wait time is really just more time to drink and socialize.

Great brewery in a Great Location right off the highway. Recently expanded their tap count to 14 and is still growing. Doesnít serve food and the service can be slow because of the influx of growlers being filled. but for my money is the most enjoyable place to drink around. Not a big place but it doesnít need to be. always has a few guest taps with vary quality and the prices are fair for what quality your getting. A great place to get a brew.

June 2010 -- Visited on a Thursday mid-afternoon. This place has managed to add a groovy little tasting room space alongside a nice little industrial brewery. Expecting good stuff based on reputation, we were not disappointed, with several unique and quality beers on tap, and a couple available to take home in bottles (or any of the tap offerings in small bottles, too). Wish I couldíve spent more time here, to be sure. (Brewery #516)

Although this is a run of the mill microbrewery tap room, with spartan decor, the beers are top notch with interesting guest taps, 1$ a sample...cant beat that...a must when in Tampa area.

Went there on a Tuesday afternoon and it was completely empty. The bar tender was cool and let me try samples of any beer I wanted for free. All the beers they had on tap were excellent. Having the warehouse right next to the bar was interesting so you can see the actual brewing operation going on. Prices were pretty good, especially if you bring a growler. Overall a nice place to stop by and have a few beers.
