warehouse type brewery. Nice to taste beers right next to where the action is. Seabass was very nice and gave us the grand tour. I picked a bad day to come for samples, as it was just after one of their big release parties. The only beers they had available for sampling were regular jai alai and maduro, but these were really good. I bought a shirt, but the wrong one was in the package. So if you buy a shirt, make sure it is the one you think you are buying. Oh well. Overall, it was nice to see the place. Joey was nice enough to sell me a barrel aged big sound even though the release was the night before. This was awesome, and i didnít expect this. Thanks again!

stopped in for a growler in a weekday and was kindly handled by doug in the brewery who filled my growler and gave me a free bottle of capicho oscuro for free just for driving in! the beer speaks for itself, theyíd really have to be nasty for me to give them anything other then the A+ their beers have already earned.

Easy access brewery right off I275. The wrongly assumed taboo of growlers is de-bunked here. You can consistently get 32 oz or under or 128oz or over of core beers. You can get new treatments almost weekly. No A/C at the moment means hot to sticky conditions 8 months out of the year. Gracious owner/host/brewer, amazing head brewer and tremendous community make this place very special. Oh, almost forgot, the beer is world class too.

The folks at CC have made the warehouse as comfortable as possible for visiting patrons but the FL heat is a killer. Great offerings from a great bunch of folks. They offer growlers to go, def recommend taking some home. You couldnít come across a more knowledgeable group. I recommend going in the early afternoon so as not to get zapped by the heat.

This review needs an update. Since this review they have done so much here itís hard to believe they are still a relatively new brewery. The tasting room is cool with a few tables and a fairly large bar area. They have added a lot of taps in the past year or so with more special releases and guest taps. I swear, they are constantly releasing something new and exciting. I canít keep up! Original Review: Cigar City has Florida beer enthusiasts super-excited and rightfully so. Visited on a Monday afternoon, itís a start up brewery in a warehouse so no food, crazy bells and whistles or anything like that. Limited hours right now. Merchandise for sale as well as growlers to go. Two core beers right now along with a boat load of seasonals/limited release type stuff. Very affordable growlers, $3 for the 32oz bottle (that they will refill) and $6-$7 for the fills. Gallon growlers available too. Joey and Wayne are doing a really good thing here. Sebastien was very helpful and friendly the day I visited. I look forward to my next visit. Iíll re-rate when I do... I suspect itís only going to get better!

Itís a warehouse thatís really hot and sticky, so the ambiance isnít so great I guess. What a stupid thing to review. Lots of shirts and cool growlers and glasses and a nice tasting room with keg tables and whatnot. Big ass tanks fermentiní away. Joey and Wayne are eager to help, despite the heavy sighs and rolling eyes when you ask them to sample some beer straight out of the bourbon barrels tucked away in the back. You can get growlers of their 2 staples and thereís most likely going to be some special beer available as well. You just have to go every single day to find out. There is no food, but thereís a McDonaldís pretty close by. And a Wendyís. Value is pretty kickiní rad, growlers are like 3 bucks per, and you can always bring them back. Theyíll fill anything under 32oz and anything over 128oz. I had them fill a few corny kegs of Hunahpus no problem! So I suggest you go there and demand that they give you growlers of Hunahpus. But be sure that whenever you do go, donít say gunhaver sent you, otherwise youíll be kicked out.

Hell yeah, homer review here I come! Damn this is a fine place to enjoy a beer and talk to Joey and Wayne about the world of craft beer. These guys care about their beer, industry and customers. And then the beer. Holy crap what a brewery. If you are within 100 miles, you owe it to yourself to stop in and have a sample or buy one of their ridiculously affordable growlers. Cheers CCB!

This is a working brewery people. Went yesterday, had a few tasters and bought a couple of growlers. Joe was working his ass off and still had a few minutes to show me and some other patrons around and make small talk. Will try to make it everytime I am out in Tampa. Be aware no weekend unless there is a special event. Cheers JON

Growlers filled (no 64-oz, just 32 oz and 1 gallon). This is not a tasting room. The staff are great, but they explained they only host a few events at that location and are not licensed to dispense beer. If you are looking for a growler of beer, a shirt, or glassware, by all means go. Their beer is wonderful.

I figured Iíd update my rating since the Tasting Room is now open. Nice old-ish vibe. Nothing fancy going on here. Usually a few locals and out of towners with sample flights and a few pints. They have a dart board with REAL darts, not those plastic things. They always have about 10 or so CCB offerings and a few guest taps. Never really crowded. A good place to sit down and have a pint or 2. Aside from beer, they sell artisan sodas (for lack of a better word). They are cool with people bringing in food, or you can order take out to the tasting room itself. Very chill, down to earth vibe.
