Walking distance from my hotel so how could I resist. Crowded but not uncomfortably so. Didnít slow down the service. Had a couple of really good beers out on the patio watching the lightning storm. Very nice. Iíll go back if Iím in the area again.

This was a real treat to visit Cigar City during a recent trip to Tampa. This place us buzzing. Located near the airport, it is in a central location near the interstate. Immediately in the entrance is the growler station, then further in is the tasting area. I sat at a table with some guys who had Hunahpu bottles and Dark Lord, and they were comparing the two. Where else do you find that? This is really a nice place. A must visit.

Love this place. Been coming here since 2009 and that should say something. If it wasnít good I wouldnít go. Love the beer selection and love how new beers pop up on the menu all the time. CCB care about what they put out. Thatís why I come here.

Great with the new tasting room providing some much needed space. Still very crowded though. Always a large number of experiments and treatments to try on tap.

Located 5/10 minutes from Tampa airport. I stayed at the Hilton a short walk away which I think was good idea! Food truck outside - good start! Near entrance is takeaway/growler bar. Further through is the larger bar which has some 26 taps to choose from 22 from CCB and the rest from local breweries. A mix of lots of their fairly regular stuff with plenty of weird & wacky beer combinations. Habanero Mango IPA? Yes please. They do 4 beer flights so its a good way to tackle the taps. Nice place, but I was surprised how quiet it was on a Saturday night. Perhaps the location. Anyway top quality place with plenty of top quality beers. A must visit.

$5 for a pint of beer and a brewery tour (keep the glass) -- howís that for value. Located in a dumpy industrial area in the middle of nowhere, but, hey, itís a working brewery. The rotating food trucks offer good fare and itís a fun way to spend a morning or early afternoon. The beers are always creative and oftentimes excellent.

I have been coming to the brewery about once a week since they opened the tasting room. I work right nearby and will visit for "lunch" or after work beers. It's been really something to watch the place take off and grow, from being empty and giving free tours to anyone who wanted them, to being packed and a destination for everyone who visits Tampa. With the new tap room open, the beer selection is great with something new and weird each time I go (20+ beers). You can almost tell what they were with experimenting to mass produce next when they have several variations of the same base beer. I recommend the flights, seems like the best value and a good way to test out the crazier stuff on draft. My one negative is that the service has suffered over the years. They used to know my name back in the beginning, now Im anonymous. They can be a bit snippy and rude, especially when busy. And god help you if you ask for a growler on a non growler beer. Overall though this is a "must go" place if your in Tampa. (BTW, I have not been on the new tour they charge for, so I can not speak to that, but I hear its great!)

I went here twice during my stay in Tampa. Very large taproom. The place gets packed on Friday nights. Food truck outside. What can you say about the beer? Itís nothing short of awesome. $5 gets you a pint of most things. 32oz and 128oz growlers to go. Six pack cans and other bottles for take out as well. Great place. The next time I come to Tampa I will stay in one of the hotels down the street.
