It’s time to do a new review of this place since they opened the expanded tasting room. The addition of the digital tap list is awesome, too. You walk in to the tasting room and the first part is the growler bar. No more waiting in a line while a ton of people get a ton of growlers. If you’re not there for a growler, then you move back to the new tasting room. 24 rotating taps of CCB and neighboring Florida breweries’ beers. Ample room, a shuffleboard table, and a great new facility. One of the crown jewels of Florida beer, a Silmaril of Florida beer, actually. Always a great time with several new beers to try from week to week. Almost every staff member knows beer and most know it pretty well.

Visited on Saturday 21/02/15 during RBWG’15. Got in just after opening so Torino and I managed to hook up with djd and Suds at the bar. Service was prompt and very friendly. We ploughed our way through the best part of 16/17 ticks from the many one off / pilot batch brews, including a couple of ciders. The place is old skoolish mid 90’s brew pub, longish bar and tables and chairs located behind. More seating in the next room and bottles available to take away. The place was really beginning to fill up when we departed around noon ... really best to get in early doors if visiting on a Saturday. Overall a top draw brew pub ... CC classics plus small batch all available in tasting flights for a very good price. A can’t miss venue if in Tampa.

Very popular, even touristic place although location is not very touristic centric. So CCB seems to be a big thing in Tampa. Nice interior with too separate bars with same beer selection. If you opened the tap, you could still move around and buy from the both bars. 4-beer samplers/flights were available and seemed to be popular. Plenty of taps (24) to choose from. Service was nice. Certainly something not to miss here. Extra parking places nearby. T-shirt shop.

Probably my first ’place’ review that took place before noon - got in a flight before a short, mildly informative tour that had a lot of beer and a nice taster glass for a reasonable price - can’t complain about the value! Ambiance was pretty good overall (wish the shufflepuck was up and going)...could have used some food, but it is what it is. Selection of beer was very quality - service was friendly and attentiave. Definitely would go back, particularly given the proximity to the airport.

Been here many times but never rated. Nice location close to the airport. Split into 2 areas, but the beers are good from both sides. Seating is limited and on site sales keeps this place jumping. Huge beer selections available. Be back for sure.

The place was packed and had to wait a bit to get up to the bar and order. Was impressed with the different brews. Will have to try on another day when not so packed.

This place has taken the concept of tap room as destination to an incredible high level. Overflow parking, two bars, a ton of great beers on tap in a ton of different styles, and a really cool brewery tour. This is a must stop. No food but the grilled cheese truck was outside.

The house that built Florida beer, it would seem. I guess I was a little surprised at how large of a space they have going here, even though I probably shouldn’t have been. Pretty full, even on a weekday evening. A handful of tables out front. There’s a bar area and growler fill station/retail shop in the entry way and then the larger tasting area/bar beyond that. A good amount of tables and a pretty substantial sized bar. Certainly an upgrade from your typical warehouse/industrial park brewery.

All the beers are listed on a TV monitor, which is nice. You can do flights and full pours. They only do tasters of the in-house brewed beers (so, even Cigar City ciders/meads are considered guest beers). Flight prices are pretty reasonable. Really good, quick service. Of course, a large selection of different beers on tap.

The thing everyone knows about already is that although they have like 20 beers on tap, probably half of those are just flavored versions of existing beers (IPA, brown ale, etc.). I thought some of them were quite good, others not so much. If you’re a "purist", you probably won’t like them for that reason, but it’s fun to try all the different stuff, even if some of them are kind of ridiculous (blueberry ginger IPA).

What a place. Tables out front. Fill station for growlers and bottles as you enter. A large bar area for flights and pints. Seating outside in the back I didn’t take advantage of. Nice flight set up where you fill out list and they bring it to you. Been to a lot of places but never been somewhere that serves so many people so quickly. Huge selection of beers. Beer quality is unsurpassed. What a place. Friendly fast and delicious. Food truck out front top notch as well. Can’t believe it took me this long to visit.

Good amount of parking. The service was really good and fast, although it was pretty crowded. There are a few bars and other places to sit. The bar I sat at had cool stories about the beginning of the brewery. There was a very good variety of beer on tap, a few guest beers and you could order paddles. Very good prices for the quality. Really cool inside and there are a few games to play there. There is a small store to buy merchandise, cans and even cigars. My favorite place from my short visit to the area.
