Honestly. It doesn’t get better. Craig not only listens he responds. Hes not (1) ignorant, as are most bar-tends or (2) pretentious--he doesn’t give a shit whatever syle of beer you are into--he will have something to please you. This place is a gem.

Rode my bike here during Christmas week after reading about the shop online. The owners were greeting friends and filling holiday orders for premium brews. Fans of high-end beer would KILL for a shop like this in their neighborhood. I sampled Port Brewing Santa’s Helper 2009 - Wow! They also serve tasty snacks to nibble as you sip.

A great combo of bottle shop and bar. The owner,Craig is a real gent and is always on hand to advise. This is a must if you are in town.

I cant express how much I love this place, yes it’s not a bar, but neither is it purely a bottle store. It’s a very neat place - Craig and Beth superb people! Great place. Interesting stuff on tap tending toward hop bombs and sours. Fantastic bottle selection. Rapidly rotating stock so there will be new stuff each time you visit. It’s 21 and over -no babies- that’s a big plus. You can bring your own food but I recommend the pork tacos from citizens band available after 5:30. Service is knowledgeable and mostly friendly. Their suggestions are spot on if you need help deciding. Great place.

Amazing place for the true beer geek. This place is a shop but also a bar so you can drink everything they have there. Your are surrounded by the bottles on the shelves and in the fridges so you can browse while you drink. They have too many bottles to count and their tap selection isn’t bad. This is a must visit place in San Francisco.

Got here after staggering thru the streets of SF after attending the Barley Wine festival at Toranado. A liquor store/bar - why didn’t somebody think of this before? An original - highly recommended.
