I checked this place out while visiting Burlington for the day. It’s a grocery store; fairly large in size. They have a pretty solid beer selection in the back middle portion of the store. Lots of Heady Topper, various bombers, and six packs. They seemed to have a decent chunk of what’s available in the area. It is what it is but a nice stop to grab a few bottles while in Burlington.

Visited on a Tuesday, people were rushing for cases of Heady Topper which had just arrived. The rest of the bottle selection is fairly decent, not that many local or outstanding brews though it seemed. Can’t really compare prices but a 4-pack of Heady cost 14$ there.

Cool little supermarket with a solid beer selection and also cheese, deli items etc. Most of the beers are kept chilled and there was a big supply of Lawson’s Sip of Sunshine cans and I guess they stock Heady when availability suits. Busy with locals queuing up to buy deli sandwiches.

Always nice selection in this whole foods kind of spot. Decent range of locals, regionals and national stuff. Friendly service. Good downtown beer grab spot.

When I visited: Late May 2013.
What I bought: Otter Creek Hop Session Ale, Dogfish Head Sixty-One, Wolaver’s India Pale Ale, Maine Beer Company MO and Zoe, others.
What I liked: Lots of refrigerated local craft beer, reasonably fresh dates on most stuff, beer guy was happy to help although some of his recommendations fell flat, cool Whole Foods vibe to the place, a decent if unspectacular option for lunch and a bottle shop.
What I disliked: Beer selection was okay but not particularly impressive, cashier was unwilling to grab me an empty case when I told her it would help us avoid problems at the border, not many bomber or dinner bottle options here, no growler fills as far as I know.
Would I go back? Probably not.

Cool Co-Op spot (grocery). Picked up few snacks on the way. Beer selection was OK not great. As everywhere service was above average. This must be Vermont thing.

Not sure what the hype is about this place; their selection was modest and overall seemed more or less on par with the Vermont State Liquor stores. I did see a few bottles of Alesmith, which is an interesting find this far East, but not so exciting for this Californian.

2013-04-28. There was a pretty decent bottle selection but like Hunger Mountain, how impressive it is will partly depend on what you are looking for and what you can get back home. Some relatively obscure stuff from the West Coast as well as locals and more widely distributed stuff. No Lawson’s Finest, the staff member I asked seemed to have never heard of them. I was going to look up a few things and come back but never ended up doing that until it was too late. We loaded up on Maple Syrup and cookies here instead :)

rated as a grocery store(a little lower grades if just reviewing the beer selection).
really like these vermont co-op grocery stores;very good service with beer, cheese, bread, and fruit and veg.only complaint is that others like this place too...so about a 10 minute wait to get my deli and cheese cut.
