Hard to find stand alone building in Royal Oak (it is under the pizzeria sign. More wine than beer, but they have a small but well thought out beer selection. Some imports, some locals, and some craft, but not a lot of any of them. The good news is the bottles can be bought a as singles. Helpful friendly staff. The beer is organized sport of by style, which I find confusing, but the space is small enough that you can find what you a are looking for if they have it.

Large wine cellar with a decent beer selection. A rather large singles selection with the beers all grouped by styles and some were in coolers. Found a handful of beers I didn’t see in GR but didn’t pick anything up on this visit.

Interesting place in basement of small building. Good selection of beers in sixes and singles. Lots of Michigan choices. Parking is reasonable for a city location, service was available. A good place I would go back to.

The atmosphere is nice. Like being in a huge wine cellar. Service is knowledgeable, but more about wine than beer. The selection is above average and all the beer is sold in singles. Which is great for variety, but not cost effective if you are looking for a 4-6 pack. The value is hit or miss. I paid less for some bottles and more for others...than I normally would.
Overall, it is a great place if you live or work in the area. I usually stop in on my lunch breaks.

Stopped by here after lunch at Lily’s. The atmosphere is very cool, its in the basement of what looks like an apartment building, you take a few step down and walk into what looks like a cave. There is beer everywhere. As you walk into to your right is there older beer, then there are coolers that hold their sub 6% beer, then there are sections of beer based upon style. Awesomely, all beer is sold by the bottle so this place is a tickers dream. Heavy on Michigan beer with lots of local places I actually haven’t heard of. Great selection of East coast beers too, some Belgian staples but nothing outlandish on that front. The service was pretty good. They were very friendly and semi knowledgeable about their stock, not exceedingly knowledgeable about beer in general.
I strongly recommend coming here if in town to pick up a few ticks.

Everything here is in singles. This is probably the best part about this place. You can grab beers that you’d be afraid to invest in a 4-pack without hesitating, and the ’singles premium’ you see in a lot of places isn’t bad here. There are many beers that are cheaper per bottle than in a full pack at other stores. They don’t have any macros, which is great, because it’s a small joint. Every square foot of the beer space is devoted to craft beer. The service is fantastic, these guys really know their beer. Great place.

I completely agree with previous post (see below)- there is very few things i can add. It is a very nice and clean store with great service but it can not compete with Holiday Markets selection and turnover of beers-I bet it is bad for their business, but the store is so nice, I would go there again.
