Taphouse for the Weatheroak Hill Brewery. An absolute must visit for any ale lover in the area and well worth the trip from Birmingham too. They sell their own four real ales brewed at the pub, plus around ten additional ales plus a few fizzy lagers for the non-believers. There are two bars with fireplaces, both with a real traditional local old world feel. The pub and brewery have been owned by the same family for 40 years and I’m sure that many parts of the pub have not changed in that time. Service is absolutely first rate as are their own beers. Check out the gorgeous and relatively inexpensive pork pies. You won’t regret it!

A pub of two halves, there is a restauranty half, largish a touch impersonal and then there is the public bar. This is how a pub should be, a mix of locals, rambers and visitors, great atmosphere, basic and very welcoming.Heaving with people and dogs and humming with conversation. Very good.

Nice pub with village pub atmoshpere with a roaring fire. Nice selection of winter ales. Will definately visit again

Great place. Prefer the bar and in the winter there is a real fire to accompany the Real Ales, most of which are their own and there is always a guest beer or two. In the summer there is plenty of seating outside. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful setting, right in the Warwickshire countryside. This pub has loads going for it - a microbrewery onsite (Weatheroak Ales), a well regarded restaurant, large beer garden, homely and traditional interior - with bar and lounge, and a good range of beers, both real ale and some Belgian bottles. Always busy, despite being a fair way from a city (the nearest is Birmingham), and not that well served by public transport. Superb on a sunny afternoon, or evening, and great for a pint of tasty bitter, in a top notch country pub. This is a great place.
