Laid back Portland beer house, decent selection. Friendly staff, good for a visit!

August visit. Cozy little place. Went on $2 pint night (thus the high value rating) service was just come up to the bar and get what you want. Beer was decent- everyone found something to love.

typical brewpub taproom atmosphere. small spot with a short bar and scattered tables, and a few picnic tables on the sidewalk. decent beer, friendly folks and cheap growlers.

Coalition is a nice smaller scale brewery. They have a small indoor area but a great patio area behind and on side of the pub. One of the key aspects of this brewery is that it shares a lot with The Grilled Cheese Grill which has some super awesome cheesey fare. C’mon beer & cheese...who can resist? You do have to make your way around front to refill your pint but this is not so bad. They might sometimes have service out back as they have a separate beer cart out there. The tunes from the Grilled Cheese cart were a fun mix and the atmosphere was pleasant with a cool breeze. I liked the beer selection with some different creations too.

A cool little pub, in an ex-garage (seems lots of brewpub in Portland are built in garages), with garage door opening, a modern wooded area, simple but nice. ( beers on tap at 1$ per sampler. Limited menu (good chili, chips and dips) and there is a cool food truck next door specializing in grilled cheese (Mr Grilled Cheese) for carry in. Beers are OK, but this is a nice place to visit.

The back patio area is great! The interior is quite small with limited serving ability and and bathrooms (only 1 I think...) but on a nice day, this is a go-to. Friendly, down-to-earth crowd, this is where you would go to meet friends on a sunny afternoon.

Sweet little place built out of a garage in a low-key neighborhood. Brewery is across the street. A fun little stop on slow afternoon. Some interesting beer, and the prices are great. Friendly people.

Looks like a garage or something. Good service, unfortunately beera were one the worst I tried in Portland. Anyway for beer ticker the place to visit with 9 own beers on tap!

They haven’t the most interesting beers but they have a tasty selection of their own stuff. It’s small and was good and bustling the night I was there. I really want to get back and give their newly opened patio a go in the sunshine. The food was nibbley but good with a few interesting things on the menu. Prices were reasonable.

I wish I still lived around the corner. Cute little brew pub with gorgeous photos of the brewing process along the walls. Small selection of taps but good beers, well priced, and excellent staff. Could be bigger, feels claustrophobic.
