66 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 mullet (224) Melbourne, Australia | January 3, 2010 Not far from the centre but definitely off the beaten track. Very different setup to most Vietnamese brewpubs, with a lovely courtyard and trees and stuff. Laid back. Food was good, the beer was probably somewhere in the middle of the Vietnamese brewpub scale I’d say. Quite liked this place, though it wouldn’t be my first stop for beer alone. | 64 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 Beershine (593) The Sunshine State, Florida | October 23, 2009 Excellent leafy courtyard. Interesting menu with some different options. The good beers are second best to Hoa Vien. | 50 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 9/20 nate2g (443) Boomtown! / Waikato, New Zealand | September 22, 2009 Pleasant beer garden with a couple of beers available. There’s an attached restaurant which gets busy and you can look into the rows of fish tanks which hold your dinner at request. It’s popular with locals and expats and on a nice day this is a relaxed place to enjoy a few beers. | 62 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 omhper (154) Stockholm, Sweden | June 3, 2008 Lovely protected outside patio on a backyward under palm trees. Plenty of interesing food on the menu, and reasonably prized too. Two Czech-inspired beers available where the pale one is the more recommended. Perhaps the most relaxing of Hanoi’s many brewpubs. |
