I was looking at some of the Belgium beers that just came to the state and the manager asked me if I would like to sample. I got to try the Moinette Blond and Saison Dupont. I also got a lesson in Belgian beer that sparked my interest and led to a membership here. I don’t know what the other reviewers are talking about regarding the sales people not knowing about beers because the person I dealt with really knew his suds.

If you want the lowest possible price on Bud Light this might not be the store for you. However, if you want the best selection on craft beers in Central Arkansas, this is definitely the store. High end beers are still young so it’s tough to find a ton of knowledge on the subject but Colonial carries everything possible.

Arkansas continues to get more and more great craft beer. Colonial handles almost everything that is available in the state. This is primarily a wine store but they do have a beer experts. Very nice store visually and lots of registers, so no waiting at the counter.

Store employee talked me into a 6 of Kingfisher. Which would have been appropriate if I’d been carrying Bud or coors as the KF would be a step up. I was carrying a bomber of Duvel and a 4 pack od Gunness Foreign Export so he should have known better.

Nice big building, great overall alcohol selection, beer included. I like their "build-a-6-pack" for $9.99, and I like they keep some singles refrigerated. You can choose between a 4/6 pack and a 22oz single on many beers as well. Good belgian selection, pretty helpful staff, decent value. I’ll be coming here again!

Colonial has been a long time quality beer, wine and spirits shop in Little Rock. A recent move and expansion has given them much needed room for growth. Historically their beer selection has been inline with other area providers. To my delight a recent stop showed several new offerings on the shelf - Delirium, Karmeliet, Kasteel, Koningshoeven, North Coast and a few others. A quick conversation with one of the staff indicated one of their distributors had expanded their selection. Good news for Arkansas!

liquor store with quite a bit of beer. small area of singles and quite a large selection of international beers. i was happy to be able to get a few single bottles of local beers.

I’ve been visiting Colonial for the last few years. They’ve consistently updated and enlarged their beer offering during this time. For the Little Rock area it is one of the best for selection. Descent international offerings, with a moderate amount of Belgian and UK beers. Staff is very helpful and fairly knowledgeable on their beer. I won’t drive out of my way on a cross-country trip, but if you’re in Little Rock already you can’t go wrong here.
