Noisy beer bar, with music, sports news, and a loud trivia game going on. Diverse crowd. Twenty two brews on the well-selected tap list, with an emphasis on NW stuff. Very impressive selection of bottles. Service was okay. Good place to find all kinds of new beers.
New to the area and was stoked to find this little gem. A nice balanced atmosphere. Decent tap selection about 20 I think. Rotating taps with whatís up next on the tap list is a plus. Good bottle stock....maybe 100 or so different brews. Food was good but a little overpriced possibly due to the HUGE portions. Give me 3/4 the food and 3/4 the price and Iíd be happier......a little wasteful really.
Donít let the divey ambiance throw you as it did me when I first walked in. The hummus plate I had was excellent. The beer selection was good, and the service good.
Wish I had more time to taste more of their food and other beers.
Very unimpressive -- sorry. Nothing special in the fridge or on tap when I was there, and the service couldnít care less whether people are there or not. I walked out after having a beer that i could have had on tap in Arizona. Better to walk across the street to Kennedy School -- at least they have some atmosphere and service.
Interesting beer list that stayed interesting as it rotated over a few days. Bonus points for having Taras Boulba, besides the expected selection of Oregon beers. Food was pretty good too. Unremarkable atmosphere but the beer made up for it. Really appreciated the child-friendly area and quick yet patient service. Solid little craft beer bar.

Nice bottle selection with a few at or near collectible level. Solid selection of local brews. In a town where most of the street food is cheap and good, the grub is notably weaker than some other places. Prices - food and drink - are pretty good for where I come from but a smidgen more expensive than other local offerings
Ambiance of an industrial pool hall. Lots of open space. Pretty much empty at midnite Thursday. Awesome selection of west coast beers. Was the first to taste Caldera Mogli Stout after the opened a new keg for me. That is beer heaven. Great bartender, nice people, quiet.
A pretty decent bar. 22 taps of solid stuff though I havenít seen anything too rare or crazy on. The burgers are decent as far as bar food goes. Service has been iffy. This is a good place but I donít think itís one of the top beer bars in the city like a lot of other people seem to. Definitely worth checking out if youíre nearby.
personally, i think hitting up the mcminnimenns kennedy school and concordia alehouse combo is worth the trip if you have two days or more in portland. a lot of local stuff on tap i hadnít tried. pool table, arcade games. mix of families, locals, and creeps like me inside. didnít try the food. servers were very attentive.
