Damn nice little beer bar. Taps that apparently rotate quickly. Over 100 bottles available at a reasonable price. Service was prompt and knowledgeable. Food appeared good but I didn’t actually try any. A must visit in PDX.

This is a really amazing spot in Portland. If you are sick of going to the Horse Brass and want to drink good beer in a smoke free environment, this is the place for you. Really great tap selection with a few belgians always on tap and other unique beers that you don’t see very often. A massive cooler behind the bar houses a big selection of botted beers at a good price. All their beers are served in four mug sizes from half pint to 64oz mug. The food is absolutely amazing, and i have never had to wait for a table.

Walking into this place is a little strange....it feels very much like walking through someones wide, empty living room and finding a bar at the end of it. Regardless, everyone seems friendly and relaxed.

Passing through Portland looking for great PNW beer and am happy to have found the Concordia Ale House (thanks, RateBeer!). Very good beer selection. Love the bottle cooler. I tried the Ninkasi IPA and Amnesia ESB, both were great. Didn’t eat but I did get great service at the bar. Very friendly, helpful and informed barstaff. Thanks for your suggestions! Nice, clean, non-smoking place to drink great beers. Wish we had this back home. Prost!

At the moment, Concordia is the best overall beer place in Portland, period. They haven’t been around as long as the Horse Brass, don’t have the style of Higgins, but they’re the best of both those places when it comes to beer. Food? Sure, it’s pub grub, but there are many tasty things (the Reuben). What they do that the other don’t is, the have a great balance between American craft beers & premium imports. They also take great care in their selections. Just because you have 100 taps doesn’t mean you have a good beer selection. Absolutely essential in your beer travels. Some of the most "beer inspried" bartenders I have ever encountered.

I love the Concordia Ale House. Not only do they have an AMAZING selection of 20 (ish) beers on tap, they’ve got hundreds of bottles, AND they have killer food. This is not a place you’ll walk away hungry or thirsty from. I love to come on Saturday or Sunday morning for breakfast and brew. It’s not crowded at that time, and the breakfast/lunch follows suit with the rest of the menu, top noch! The owners are really great people to chat with. If they don’t carry something you want. Bring Matt in a bottle of something you’ve found in another part of the country, and if he can, he’ll have it brought in and put on the shelves in the nice big beer cooler. And if you needed any more reason, they’ve got pool x2.

Basic place, free pool. Great selection, not only lots of local stuff, but also good Belgian selection. Co owner Jason was friendly and very helpful. Great place.

This place was quite enjoyable, very laid back attitude and it wasn’t terribly busy. Our server was very fast, efficient and attentive, seemed decently knowledgeable as well. Enjoyed some extremely tasty brews such as Hopsickle and Hop Lava here. The food was quite tasty as well. Hope to visit this nice little bar again soon.

This Ale House sets the standards for all other! Very few places fall into this quality and caliber or ever evolving beer selection of quality and uniqueness. The food is top notch pub grub! Try their Brie and mushroom burger.....or the Immensely firey and tastey Firehouse burger.....

This is a very fun little bar with a great tap and bottle line up. The food looked good but I didn’t try it on this trip. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. A great bar to visit in Portland.
