Visited early evening on a Wednesday. Easy to find in an industrial park not too far from the Des Moines airport. As you enter, the sparkling new brewery is right in front of you. You walk around the brewery to get to the tasting room. The tasting room itself is huge, a bunch of tables and a large bar plus a large patio out back that appeared to be right on a biking trail. Beer selection was 11 of their own beers, 1 guest (Stone) and 1 guest cider. Beers were available in a variety of sizes including shaker pint, taster, 3 and 4 beer flights, pitcher and growler. Food truck was out front when I visited, and they had pretzels at the bar. Seems to be a brewery with big ambitions, fun place, best of luck to them.

76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Tasting room at the brewery, has bartenders who know their brews. I stopped twice in the same evening, and each time encountered beer lovers who were there to see how Confluence does "it" in order to start their own brewpubs. A hopping, fun, beer-centric place. Top notch!

I didnít make it here on my most recent trip in April, but I sure had fun during my previous trip last summer. Super clean and tasty brews. Taster trays offered. Good food truck offered the night I was there. Plenty of space. Nice staff. Cheers John!

I do like the fact that the brewing facility is the center of this tap room. You literally walk around it to get to the tap room. Large space with tables and a bar. Games are available and food trucks stop by or you can bring food in. The beers I had were very good. My only complaint is that the room is very loud with a huge echo. Very attractive and tasty concrete box.

Visited back in March, but forgot to rate. They have a very nice, large setup for a newer brewery. Lots of room for expansion. The beers were reasonably priced and well-made. Got to try several of their offerings. Friendly staff and crowd. Itís nice to see new breweries like this in Iowa.

Stopped in on the big road trip. Interesting entrance, you need to walk through the brewery basically to get the the LARGE tap room, although the bar itself is pretty small. They do flights of 4 beers for $6.50, and have about 10 beers on tap at any time. Beers were pretty darn good, staff was friendly, and the locals looked like they were having a good time.

Very nice brewery to visit. Very clean and open. Easy to see what is going on. Met the brewer/owner and his wife. Very nice people. Huge tasting room. Flights of 3 and 4 available. Believe 10 selections were on tap. Everything I tried was well made. Lake view and outside seating add to the experience. Great service. Had a nice crowd after work on Friday. A touch difficult to find, but well worth it.

What a nice clean set up. I like that you walk past the fermenters on the way to the bar area. There is some local artwork for sale on the walls as well as a logo in the cement floor. You can also walk from the Grayís Lake side on their large deck. The layout is largely open with a clear and up to date chalkboard listing the available beers. It is great that they also list other places where their beer is available on tap. They have a nice regular line up as well as various rotating seasonals. The guys that run the place are friendly and very positive about the local scene. The beer I had was tasty and not flawed. I am looking forward to trying more of their beer.
