Small, but excellent selection of higher end beers. Prices match rarity. No bargains to be found, but all top notch.

How many billion times have I passed this joint in my life? Only on a recent visit home did I actually act on reviews and stop in for some beverage. Nice selection of regional and national craft, with DC Brau, Alewerks, Stillwater, and others well represented. Not a vast selection by any means, but quality for sure.

These guys don’t have as many beers as say, Chevy Chase or even U Street Beer but what they get is usually very good. They have a great mix of the Belgian trappist classics and some cool imported stuff from Nogne, Italian breweries and others like Mikkieller and Evil Twin. Stuff is pricey though, as it’s good. Good location near Pizzeria Paradiso Dupont.

Decent little liquor shop a few steps from the Dupont Circle metro station. Some coolers with refrigerated beer and a small corner of non-chilled beers. Decent liquor selection though I’ve never paid much attention, have seen some stuff like Buffalo Trace. They used to have out of market beers for sale but I’ve heard they’ve stopped doing that. Occasionally there will be some craft beer gems that pop up. Prices are reasonable to a tad pricey depending on the beer. The beer buyer Al is helpful and friendly.

Nice little liqour store with two shelves of beer and two six pack coolers. Nothing that blew my mind in comparison to some other places but it was a good beer store. There are a few more in the area that have a similar selection and they dont have quite the ratings, so i dont know what gives. Maybe the place went downhill or doesnt have as much of a selection as it did before but i find that hard to imagine as it is very tiny as it is.

A slightly less than average liquor store as far as beer stores go. Had a nice selection of bombers, even some Boulevard beers, but otherwise unexceptional.

Great spot just at the Dupont Circle. Had good service and the selection was better than average. Anoying though, like most elsewhere in USA, that it´s nearly impossible to find single 12 oz-bottles. Whats the deal?

Good selection, though crammed into a small space with less than enthusiastic staff. Great location by the metro.

Located just off the busy Dupont Circle, this rather small store is, well, a labyrinth of shelves, rather randomly filled with beer, wine and spirits. The selection is OK, for an American store, but it is rather limited to chiefly mainstream US beers and quite a lot of Belgian trappist ales. The staff appear busy and seemingly unimpressed by the presence of potential customers looming in every corner of their labyrinthic realm. I left without buying anything, just didn’t want to have yet another sixpack cram my hotel room.

Not a huge selection but certainly some great stuff including a new firestone walker on my visit. Understand prices are a little high but certainly didn’t feel cheated for the quality of beers.
