Convivial Wetherspoon with access on a pedestrian street. Thereís nothing spectacular about the place and can be a quiet place throughout the start of the week once the commercial area of the town has finished for the day. Thereís a good ale selection here though with two rows of cask pumps.

Bustling atmosphere, usual big open planned place for JDW. The service is very attentive. There were 4 guest real ales on and some others coming soon. A better selection than the typical alehouse but there was little evidence that there was much expertise with handling cask beer. Itís incredibly cheap though - like 1996 prices or something. Overall, it would be amazing if they could actually look after the beer.
